The fricking hip is connected to the neck also.
As is all of the abdomen.

Your argument is not valid.

You should look at the pictures that have whites helmet At the faceadk level of Fitz

This is irrelevant without forcible contact. Or leading into his head, which you say yourself he was hitting with his forearms into his shoulder pad laces:

And his forearms hitting him around the top lace of his shoulder pads.

So you're saying he hit him with his upper extremities in the top lace of his shoulder pads? Around the top lace you say? So you are in agreement that by definition not targeting! It's crazy to say that Fitzgerald's neck extends down into his shoulder pads at the top lace as the top lace is well below the neck area of a set of shoulder pads!

You only have one ball?

Hope it wasn't a bad accident or cancer.

Defenseless player...check. Contact to the head or neck area.....check. Yes, targeting.

Correction, “forceable contact to the head or neck area”

Uncheck = Bad call.

Possibly understandable when called on the field. Should have been corrected by the replay official

Look at any replay. He went in high, he did not have to, he hit him after the ball left.....he got the call that he earned.

See your downvotes?

You couldn't be more full of shite if you tried.

I have been watching you look dumb all day over this bullshite. Let me help you.

Contact with the head or neck area is what people are disagreeing with here. And they have a point.

My god man. The foul is called “targeting”

The term itself implies purpose.

Wrong. It does not say "contact to the head or neck area". If that was the threshold, every play would be targeting.

The criteria is "forceable contact to the head or neck area". There was NOTHING even close to forceable contact above the chest. Devin White had, at most, incidental contact to Fitzgeralds face mask when he pushed him down. This is worse that the PP7 no interception call (which was also upheld on review). The world can see both calls were wrong. I'll leave it up to you to determine motive.

So explain how the Bama player’s hit was not targeting but this one was.

The call will stand. It’s a BS call, it really really is. But he hit Fitz’s helmet in the process of tackling him. I think they can justify it as targeting under the current rule. Not the hit this rule was intended for. Bull shite, but unfortunately it will stand.

The problem is that when the QB was hit, his head went forward. This is what at most caused the so called touching of the helmets. Had white led with his head the QB’s helmet would have snapped back.

Did everyone acting like this is “forceable contact to the head or neck area” fail high school physics?

You have to be leading with head, arm, elbow, fingers, toes, nose whatever to the head neck face area. He pushed him with both hands to the chest and all contact after that was incidental, like him grazing his helmet and his hand coming up under his chin in that frame as they were falling to the ground. Please for goodness sake let’s at least all agree it wasn’t targeting!!!!!!

Please remove the word tiger from your user name, stick your foot up your arse, and ask Devin White or any real Tiger to demonstrate on your defenseless arse what targeting is. I'm sure the members of this board would cover any fine promptly
