You are delusional if you accept that garbage of play calling to where we are looking at a FG to beat us when we totally could have dominated and put this team away with a mor balanced attack
I think you should be our OC. The pay is much better than being a Walmart greeter.

Hallman and Dinardo did not have this kind of talent.
If LM were my CEO he is definitely not maximizing my profits from the assets that I have, thus he would have been fired a long time ago because he just does not get how I want my business done, he cannot process the time clock, he does weird things, he is hard headed, etc...
He would have been replaced with someone who has a better vision of balance and using the assets and human resources we have.... That simple as I can see it and 80% of the people can see it. You sunshine pumpers don't want to admit it is all

It's not about admitting. It's about accepting things that are out of your control. Something you fricks have a hard time with.

I was more at peace last night than I would have been in years' past. Not dropping several thousand dollars on season tickets, and feeling like I made a great decision is pretty liberating.

The last few years have taught me to lower my expectations. Once you do that, the season is much more enjoyable,

quote:The "it's been worse before" argument is bullshite. With the talent LSU has, 8-5 is pathetic. And Miles tried as hard as he could not to make the "natty," but fortunately fluked into it by the grace of God. And do you really feel like LSU won the SEC in 2011? I don't.
You really think Les is that bad? You're old enough to remember Hallman, Dinardo, etc.
And when Miles finally leaves for whatever reason, they'll get someone else. If he sucks, they'll fire and rehire as necessary, just like they did before.
They have a million times more talent than MSU and their fate at the end of the game was not in their hands. They needed a dropped conversion and missed FG to escape with a win. I'm glad they got it, but it's shite like that which takes the wind out of my watching experience.
And if you think Kelly and Adeblahblah are going to keep putting up those kind of numbers for you, you're insane. Week 7, punk. That's when the pain train stops in your town.

You're basing this on what you feel...what are your qualifications to judge? If you know better, why aren't you a coach making 4 million per year? It must suck for you, and people like you.

We won the game against a team that embarrassed us last year, at their house, our first game, with an unproven QB. You people are fricking ridiculous and give our fan base a bad name.

True, it is easier to accept it.
At least you see what's happening here, the slow decline is real. I suppose the one's screaming for a change (myself included) have just woke up and the 'but we won' crowd is still blinded by the P&G glasses.
Half the fan base is screaming and the rest of them act like nothing is wrong.

I'm not a fan of Les Miles, but there is not a mother fricker on this site that can do better. Argue about what coach you think would, but shut the frick up if you think you can do better.

I disagree
Miles is great at recruiting and getting a team ready and occasionally is very inspiring. Of course he is a gentlemen in general as well and very respected.
But his in-game coaching leaves a lot to be desired of and it is blindingly obvious.

Agree, but I don't think anyone was making that argument.
Last night, I went from being really enthusiastic about LSU's prospects to being deflated and remembering that no matter how much talent LSU has, the head man can always do something to shite all over it.

With what? You think that someone on this board could do a better job?

He has his share of frick ups, but you guys are too stupid to understand the reason for doing certain things.

No internet argument here
I really want to know a few things, with the game getting close in the 4th quarter and with a QB who can make throws, what is the reasoning for running it into a ten man box (after already doing so the past 20 times) and punting it away? This given that Dak was on fire?
Do you a think simple slant or TE play was too much to ask for with 1:1 coverage on the outside and the whole world thinking it was going for a run?

This from someone that thinks that Mutant Ninja Turtle movies are fine art.
The plain truth is that you and the rest of the yapping crowd have no clue. You are all pi$$ed because LSU doesn't play the way YOU want them to. They don't run the plays YOU like. They don't win big enough to satisfy YOUR pathetic need to feel macho. Somehow you have come to believe that LSU football exists solely to make YOU happy by doing things YOU want the way YOU want then done. And when that doesn't happen all of you little mommy's brats pitch a tantrum worthy of the mental toddlers you are.
LSU beat a ranked opponent that had knocked the crap out of them last year in their extremely noisy venue behind a young quarterback making his second SEC road start following a less than auspicious first one; an opponent whose quarterback is probably the best in the SEC this year. And all you babies can do is whine because the game was too close, because it wasn't run the way YOU you do on your X-Box.
Please just grow up. Or better yet, just go away.

If you're going to post. Start with facts. Since Miles has been coach; LSU graduation rates are second highest to. Vanderbilt in the SEC.

Les Miles has made me miserable for at least the last 5 years. I almost dread game day because I know it's going to be a frustrating experience that just makes me mad. I can't remember the last time I actually enjoyed a game.
This reeks of emotional immaturity and severe co dependency.
I can't understand how some people can be so upset at watching their team win 80% of their games simply because they didn't win the way they "should have won".
