It is a bit overwhelming.... I call them fake fans.... they SAY they want LSU to do well yet they want O gone...... the worst and most spoiled fanbase in the country....

The whole "haters" thing is wrong, at least for most fans.
There are a lot of folks who think Orgeron was never qualified for the position who in no way hate the guy. I am one.
I will say that I have lost respect for him in many ways since he ascended to his present position, but I don't hate him.

What's wrong with that?

I want Orgeron to be a better coach, but I can't make him a better coach. If he wins, we all win.

I just don't want to see us struggling this year and people still try to make a case that he's a good coach. He has to do better than the guy he replaced or it's time to move on. It's simple.

I don't think it'll happen, therefore yes I do want him gone. But that doesn't mean my mind can't be changed.

All of you O people come across as pathetic losers who cry like a bunch of women by the way. Just look at your posts in this thread. The wailing and moaning about people being "mean". For god's sake, put on your big boy pants and just openly admit that O is in over his head.

Oh, I'm sorry. Carry on with being "tired of people bashing O" and "tired of the negativity".

I have never said O was the right man for the job... and I still don’t think he is, however I want LSU to win at s high level every year... so if LSU wins then it will show me that the man is doing his job... like the hire or not..... the doom and gloom around here is real disturbing....

Because you're a moron.

I want O gone BECAUSE I think he's incapable of doing the job of getting LSU to do well. Had he been capable in his only other stint as a full time head coach, then I'd be more apt to "wait and see" while he bumbles around trying to get things right.

But...since he WAS NOT and he was hired to do better than the previous coach who had won multiple SEC titles and a NC and averaged 10 wins over the course of his career, he's got ZERO leeway to frick around...and thus far he's fricked around. So, I'd prefer he leave now.

However, if he suddenly started winning big and the moves he was making seemed to indicate he'd learned ANYTHING and were directly responsible for said wins, I'd be VERY VERY HAPPY to say I was wrong about what I thought would be his future at LSU and I'd welcome him with open arms.

Because I'm an LSU fan and I want them to win.

FIFY

It doesn't make you less of a fan to call it like it is. 0 was a terrible hire and we won't be relevant again until he's gone. I can know that while still hoping 0 somehow finds a way to win a championship this year.

LSU is obviously not where it was 9-10 years ago but if o can turn this around and get us a 11 win season. I’ll be happy

That’s a good post, but the part that there seems to be a huge disconnect is the “still trying to make the case he is a good coach if we struggle this year” part. I just don’t notice many trying to make the case he is indeed a good coach. If he turns in a similar or worse record in 2018...you got a guy that is producing similar results as the person he replaced that was, in my observation, a much more likeable (and liked) guy.

I just don’t see the same level of support as a lot on this board seem to. You got guys that want him to do well and are willing to give him a chance, and you got guys that hate him, and everything in between. To me there just seems to be very few people that Orgeron is their guy. He simply doesn’t have the goodwill Miles had, but there seems to be an almost forced division as if he does so the situation appears similar.

From my point of view, there seems to be guys that just hate Orgeron, and are looking for someone to place some sort of blame on for him being given the job. So anything remotely positive seems to be met with hostility from that group.
