Chicago White Sox third base prospect Jake Burger tore his Achilles tendon again at his home in Arizona last week and had surgery to repair the injury on Tuesday, the team said Wednesday.

The White Sox said the estimated recovery timetable is 12 months.

Burger, who was drafted 11th overall by the White Sox in the 2017 amateur draft, originally tore his Achilles in February when he was running out a grounder in a spring training game against the Oakland Athletics.

How the hell do you re-tear your achilles a couple of months after repair surgery? WTF was he doing?

The next great QB hope!
I'm not really into selling low.
All of our comments are unnecessary.

If gsw was truly back Peak GSW. They woulda waxed PELS by 20 every game.

Last game...they're back.
It think GS is back at full murder strength and the Rockets iso-ball ways will end with them going home in 6. As good as Harden and Paul have been I don't see them beating the total team ball of GS. I was hopeful but now I just don't see it. And GS smokes whoever the East offers up this year.

Relax pal.

No, they all don't.

You're right I'm exaggerating..it's only about 90%.
They all take roids or hgh or whatever...it's their job to properly cycle to avoid positives or know which masking agents to take.
The NFL needs to give these guys a course on cycling to avoid positive tests and masking agents...though most seem to be fairly adept at it already.
Some guys just don't know how to properly mask.

No Mark Emmert to lead the school and athletics program

Right, he’s busy making the NCAA the most despised sports organization on earth.
I’m shocked a bunch of basement dwelling shut-ins are horrific looking.

NOT BAMA

How do you define "old"...are you old enough to recall:

Post Bryant...Ray Perkins, Bill Curry

Post Stallings...Mike Dubose, Dennis Franchione, Mike Price, Mike Shula

Post Saban will be interesting.

Stop watching...I thought all ole baws stopped watching ESPN + NFL last year? MAGA?
LSU is about to enter into the next great decline and a procession of questionable coaches...it happens to everyone...it's just our turn.

Most of us with ambition haven't due to the exaggerated, but not far off target, text you quoted.
So an old plumber with flame decals on the side of his Tundra shot and killed a not quite as old tow truck driver (low level criminal bully) standing next to his obnoxious LSU truck and LSU nightmare of a lawn for spraying him with water....Not a good look for your LSU degree.

ETA: Hard to talk shite about the Bama superfan that shot her guest for not being upset enough about a Bama loss.
I prefer a little bush to the barbie doll.
Team ball will beat Iso-ball...especially when the team guys are talented enough to play iso. I like the Rockets this year (in Hou), however, they have the great misfortune of having a great team while this GS team is still in its prime. If GS breaks up over salaries this off-season, the Rockets will finally have their chance.
Recruiting base is more important...you need a good AD and President to have the vision to go and sell the school, the recruiting base to the potential coach.

Here’s Obama’s original statement, in an October 2008 campaign visit to Columbia, Mo:

"Now, Mizzou, I just have two words for you tonight: five days. Five days. After decades of broken politics in Washington, and eight years of failed policies from George W. Bush, and 21 months of a campaign that's taken us from the rocky coast of Maine to the sunshine of California, we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.

"In five days, you can turn the page on policies that put greed and irresponsibility on Wall Street before the hard work and sacrifice of folks on Main Street. In five days, you can choose policies that invest in our middle class, and create new jobs, and grow this economy, so that everyone has a chance to succeed, not just the CEO, but the secretary and janitor, not just the factory owner, but the men and women on the factory floor."
