Hi, my name is ibleedprplngld, and I hate Coach Ed Orgeron as the Head Football Coach of the LSU Tigers. Phew, glad I got that off my chest.

Seriously though, I hate the guy being our head coach. But, with that said, I started to ponder what it would take for me to be more accepting to him leading the team for the foreseeable future. As hard as it is to admit, I do see a path to acceptance. It's a 10-2 season with the only losses being to Bama and Georgia, and a win against a quality opponent in the bowl game.

Now, we can debate whether or not that criteria can be met, but that's what it would take for me be on board with the experiment.

What about you?

Him winning the SEC West THIS YEAR and possibly win the SEC as this essentially guarantees the playoffs. None of this new offense bullshite excuse or any other fricking excuse. I don't give a shite if all 3 QBs break their arms. O has to win NOW. That is the fricking standard we set for Miles so it shouldn't be different.

For all the lying that he's done and for the shitty decisions like firing an OC and making the athletic department foot the bill on the buyout and for hiring an OC that he should have hired last year. This is business too, the guy is literally costing the university millions with his bad decisions. Nothing short of an SEC title game appearance is worth keeping him to obliterate the program. Even his saving grace of "recruiting" doesn't look too much like a saving grace anymore after missing out on key recruits and having his boy PONAMSKY frickING RECRUIT!!! Yes Ponamsky is helping recruit Derek Stingley.

Winning the West this year would be a start. I won't hold my breath.

If he has a 10 win regular season with this schedule and roster I will take back all the mean things I said about him. Also, he must beat Bama.

It would be easier to cut him some slack if he was a nice guy but he just seems like an a-hole. That is compounded by him being the HC of the Tigers.

winning the SEC west this season. With the defense he's going to have no excuse this season.

10-2, NY6 bowl. Same expectations I had last year. There needs to be a real sense that this team is on the rise.

He would have to begin to show signs of competently running the program. No more saying one thing in one press conference and contradicting himself in another then lashing out at the press when they ask him to clarify.

On the recruiting trail he needs to do a better job attracting top talent and filling needs. What we brought in at CB, RB, and QB is disgraceful. Happy to have the trenches filled, but roster management must improve.

He also has to do something to turn the tide. We appear to be spiraling out of control. That needs to be reversed.

Oh yeah... and be in contention for the west this year, and nothing less than winning it in 2019.

I'm ok with 10-2, but he has to beat Bama to get there. I feel like beating Bama is critical this season, otherwise he'll be 0-3 against Bama with no signs of being able to compete.

I think 11 wins is the acceptable answer, either a 10 win season and a bowl win or an 11 win season and a bowl loss. Winning the SECW is probably necessary as well. Miles averaged just under 10 wins, so O should too.

he's gotta win...and win big.

the typical Orgeron fan is fine with continuing on with 3/4 loss seasons, but we got rid of Miles for that very decline in success.

One thing I absolutely cannot understand in hiring Orgeron is that the powers that be expected and was reassured that he would be the answer to all of the issues that faced Miles during the latter part of his tenure. Recruiting losses, depth chart and positional recruiting blunders, and most of all, an overhaul of the offense that would actually make a difference in the program's biggest games.

One interim year, one full year, and into year 2 of the experiment and we go into 2018 with some of the biggest question marks on offense that I can remember in quite some time.

While Ed is coach, I hope he recruits his behind off and restocks the cupboard as much as he can for the next guy, bc this tenure isn't going to last long if the question marks continue to add up.

Be competitive if a young QB shows growth. Win 10 games (including bowl)

Win the SEC in ‘19.

Way I see it- He took over a squad that was winning 8-10 games a year. He will either improve or not improve. If he doesn’t then why did we pay Les 10,000,000 to go away?

Let's be real, guys. I don't expect this team to win more than 7 games. I fully expect O to be canned after this season along with Alleva (possibly sooner for Alleva depending is you believe the rumors).

In my mind. If he goes 10-2 it's showing improvement. It shows he AT LEAST pointed in the right direction. 10-2 at least buys him another season.

Again, I doubt it happens. My gut tells me 99.9% of the fan base will be screaming for his head after the Miami game, but you never know.

So basically, O has to be as good as Miles’ average? Why did we fire Les?

It's not a question of why we fired Miles, it's a question of why the frick did we hire O.
