O expects the TE coach, who has never run the spread, to just go ahead and run the spread

quote from O

if this is what he wanted he should have hired a guy like Yurcich. because that's how you hire people, its based on their experience at the thing you expect from them.

but now i guess LSU is the place where a OC goes to cut his teeth.

im honestly starting to wonder if O understands any of this.

Ensminger also stated, at length, that he plans to use 3-4 WRs at a time and go fast/no huddle some. I would also guess we will see more shotgun. Are you honestly saying Ensminger is incapable of understanding how to run a spread offense?

Spread offenses are the entry level offenses of college football. You're arse could get out there and run one.

no. He's saying that Ensminger has zero experience as an OC running the spread. So, why didn't see hire someone who does have experience running it?

He's saying that LSU isn't where you go to prove you can do something

It's supposed to be were you go to do shite you've ALREADY PROVEN you can do!

Well obviously only young coaches can be innovative or pick up new concepts.

The spread is a formation. It isn’t rocket science. Anyone with eyeballs can see how it works. You are a retard.

So now he doesn’t want an offense like early 2000s USC?

I’m so fricking confused,

Bull fricking shite! "This offense is what every LSU fan has wanted and I'm going to give it to them." 1 RB in the backfield with the QB, heavy on the passing. I have to see it to believe it.

Yeah, but when did he say that? If it was more than 20 seconds ago, he's likely on to some other asinine idea.

Who cares? If O believes he can do it and do it effectively, then what's the difference? Using Cams playbook, he seemed to have a pretty decent understanding of how to run it.

Spread offenses are pretty easy to run...there’s a reason a ton of HS teams run them.

O doesn't have a fricking clue what he wants.

He wanted spread, then the USC offense, then hired Canada, now he wants spread again.

You all are chumps for taking this hook line and sinker.

Lyin Ed fed us this bs last year during his press conference....he lied. And guess what.....he is lying again bc that’s what he does. Don’t let the Cajun accent fool you.

Good, I hope it works. If he is telling the truth it sure would be refreshing to see. I'll believe it when I see it though.

I think you and might be the only one who understands the spread he described is a version of the spread.
Instead of having a spread shotgun, you move the qb under center.
