Props to Coach "O" for his dedication and guidance.

But props to Coach Brady. He has every orifice oozing with creativity, talent, energy, and enthusiasm, yet the intelligence to blend these traits with the guidance, wisdom, experience, and dedication of Coach "O".

Seems like we have a winning combination!

Supposedly E didn't want the job to begin with and was pressured into it.

This is what gets me. Will always be grateful for his contributions the last few years

A lot of credit needs to be directed to Orgeron. At the very least, he recognized a problem and he keeps working to try to fix it. That is more than can be said for the last staff.

What I love about that play aside from how good it looked was the blocking of Sullivan. He manhandled his guy to get him out of the way. Little things like that can be huge.

Wish we wouldn’t have put that RPO bubble screen on tape and used it in Texas game

They put on tape what they wanted on tape. Be assured that we have something off of that if we used it vs ga southern

Love the chemistry between Ensminger and Brady.

Was cool to see them in the booth towards the end of the game smiling and laughing.
(And this was when the defense was on the field dominating)

My interpretation.....they were happy with the results and performance of the offense.

They are very confident in what we can do going forward.

Ensminger will play the role of tapping the brakes on Brady if necessary (even Sean Payton can get carried away with his play calling)

And it’s nice to know you have a dominant defense to fall back on.

This is going to be a special season.

How do you know he is pissed Brady left? This isn’t a fact. Not saying Brady isn’t a good young offensive mind, but Payton never expressed disappointment in him leaving.

I did not intend to leave Coach "O" out. You are correct in saying he addresses needs head-on.

. I thought it was Brees to MT for a second there.

The deep throw by Burrow to Thad Moss down the seam against cover 2 is a staple of the New Orleans Saints offense. I couldn't tell you how many times, I've seen Brees hit TEs down the seam over the LB & underneath the safety.

Props to Ensminger for the no ego thing.

not sure if people realize how big this is.... I have so much respect for a guy like that, to let Brady come in and teach the RPO/Spread and not have Ensminger say "hey, im running this shite"...Its huge dude, and we could have a banner year if they both understand their roles for this year... I have all the confidence in Ensminger with his role...

and honestly, he should get a fat arse retirement check at the end if this all works out...

There will be plenty of plays in the arsenal that UT won't see coming.

That's very misleading. If you listen to O talk about it. He said Joe Brady had some plays that were used not that Joe Called the plays.

He said Brady and E worked well together and some of Bradys plays E would use and some he didnt.

E is still calling the office but it is being influenced by Brady.

I believe Brady will be E's replacement after this year but he isnt calling the offense yet

That RPO bubble screen to Marshall for 6 was a thing of beauty. I thought it was Brees to MT for a second there. Can’t wait to see more wrinkles like that

Exactly what I said. That was legit right out of the saints playbook

used to think E was one of Les "good O boy, yes man" hires like Bradley Dale Peveto and Doug Mallory but he is proving he is different

Why is this necessary in this thread?

Anyone else feel like this year, at minimum, or maybe 2 seasons, is a transition year from E to Brady?

Just a hunch I have, but I remember when Coach E was promoted, a lot came out how he didn't want that job but took it because of O. Just seems like this will naturally be an easy, planned transition. Not that Ensminger would retire, but just return to a position spot, solely, and Brady would take over as OC

That was not a bubble screen. Bubble screen has no motion. Watch when Jimbo called them here. Go back and watch games and get back to me.

I do, I believe this is E's final year under contract as Oc.

I think he will go back to coaching a position and Brady will take the OC
