Why would Howard transfer?
Because he doesn't want to be pushed back for a transfer QB that can scramble but not throw to "help the offensive line woes".

He going to quit on a second straight bowl game
How can we make it without him on the bench watching JD hold onto the ball
. If coach is infatuated with a running QB, does Nuss have a future in BR?
Why not go play somewhere that will give him a legit shot

Howard won’t transfer if Nuss leaves. That gives you playing time in 2022 and a clear cut path to the job in 2023.

We can only hope Daniels comes back.
And if his return means Nuss, another backup, leaves? There will be no impact on this program. Nuss was not a factor last season when we played in the SECCG and there’s no reason to think next season will be any different. So…If Daniels returns? Problem solved.
If he doesn’t? We get someone else whether that’s a player already here or one we pick up. Problem solved.

Makes sense. Say goodbye to the two guys we have seen actually play for the one that none of you have seen.

I don't hope he comes back, he's a shite passer, he wastes the WR talent and he takes touches from other more dynamic skill position players.
I hope he leaves. I'm sick of watching Daniels tuck and run instead of throwing downfield to talented WRs.

Isn’t his dad at the cowboys? Makes a lot of sense. A lot of these guys came here for the Burrow offense. Not what we showed this year.
I’m surprised he has not acted UCLA.

He still has a bright future here if he wants it. Would not make sense for him to transfer.
If JD comes back one of Nuss or Howard transfers. 100%

May not happen until after spring, but you are most likely correct.

This can’t be said enough. He needs to be told to declare, transfer, or be a backup/wildcat guy.

Him tweeting this means he wants everyone to talk about it. So why not
Maason Smith also quote tweeted it. He obviously wants people talking about how he is going to transfer to TCU to doesn’t he?

Fans want players to be backups because we need them, and consider that a bright future. But kids want to play, and if possible, have a chance at the next level. If we’re all being honest, Nuss isn’t gonna get a chance here. JD is gonna start next year and Howard will take over after that. If Nuss stays here, his “bright future” is getting a degree and being a clipboard holder. I can’t blame him if he’s thinking about leaving.

Why? He’s our best QB by far right now. Howard might end up being better but he’s only going to be a RSFr.

LSU fans and coaches are too attached to JD. Nuss should recognize that and leave.

I’m not catastrophizing. I’m not saying the tweet means he’s thinking of leaving. I’m just pointing out the flaw in the statement that Nuss has a “bright future here” and if he were considering leaving, that should be why he doesn’t. Reality is..he doesn’t have a bright future here.

Have you considered being an FBS head coach man? With your ability to scout the team better than our $100m coach, you could be rich
