If he does play well we are going to be a tough team to beat for sure.

Hope we have him for the next 2 years so that we have a nice hand off in 2026 for Underwood.

With that said, if Nuss goes in draft after this season, it most likely means we had a damn good season.

i told my son this recently. IF the defense is going to be a huge issue, i'd like to see Nuss have a 2018 burrow type year. good stats, confident, running the offense, but nothing thats going to run him up the draft boards to round1. so he can come back while hopefully the depth and talent on D improve.

however, if the defense is improved enough to where we can make a run, then i want to see nuss just go off!

Burrow was the best QB in the NCAA in his second year at LSU.

Daniels was the best QB in the NCAA in his second year at LSU.

Having appeared in 18 games and thrown 219 passes, this will be Nussmeier's fourth year at LSU.

And Nussmeier will have the best offensive line in the NCAA.

No excuses.

I feel like he’s going to be really good but unfortunately we had the 2 GOATs in a span of 5 seasons that he has to follow.

I won’t expect him to be or be pissed if he isn’t as effective of those guys because no one is, I just hope other people do the same. The kid is really good and seems to be a hell of a leader.

Hopefully this won’t be another “we would’ve won the natty if our defense was even top 50” type seasons.

I would say he’s more of a Brett Favre with his arm strength and accuracy but Baker is a good comparison as well. He is going to sling it downfield and will throw some picks like Brett and Baker. But he will make plays that lead to points as well. Could be another special QB season.

98 yards in 8 plays for the game-winning TD in a bowl game tells me all I need to know about him.

Had a bad pick but didn't let it bother him. Kept throwing darts.

Offense will not be an issue this season. Great QB, outstanding OL, and elite talent at the skill positions.

They hated Jayden after Week 1 last season

^^^ this was all the Nuss Buss soyboys last year. If anyone mentions a second string QB challenging Nuss they wet their pants. IF you even say something good about a second string QB they get very defensive about Nuss.

For their sake I hope he is the most awesome QB ever so they can run around screaming "I told you SOOOOOO!"

The pendulum will swing back this year. Now the Jayden Daniels crowd will be demanding dual threat Rickie Collins to come in first time Nuss sits in the pocket too long & takes a sack

I’m ready for the hypocrisy

Shall we look back at the things you said about Jayden Daniels last September?

How many games/seasons did Daniels start before he blossomed into a super QB?
Wasn't it his third game in his fifth year as a starter before he became a dominant QB.

Great arm, attitude and leader. But, way to damn hyper. He does not compare to #9 and #5. We will need the running game big time this year to offset offensive play from the QB. We will see how he takes the big hits from the SEC lineman. Nuss is a true LSU Tiger waiting his turn. I see injury all over his gunslinger play unfortunately. Collins and Swan need to be ready.

His dad is a big proponent of starting experience in college. I'd be very surprised if Nuss went pro unless his numbers were just extraordinary.

Exactly the soyboy pants wetter I was referring too - all red faced and stomping his feet because you are not carrying Nuss's ballz@ack around in a golden pouch admiring it.

You can't even support Nuss as a good QB or promising QB because you are not supporting him ENOUGH!!!!
