Nuss QB1 & Daniels to RB/WR

I know it’s not going to happen, but genuinely curious as to others thoughts.
Do y’all think we would be better in the long run if Nuss was made QB1 and Daniels moved to a RB/WR hybrid role? Daniels has a year and a half left to boost his draft stock for the NFL where he probably won’t be a QB. Make the change now and Daniels can get comfortable in that role going into next season and then during the offseason Nuss and Walker can battle it out for the QB1 spot.
Again, I know this has zero chance of happening, but would like to hear opinions.

Let Dnaielw be a Taysom Hill type and let Nuss get the majority of snaps in a regular offense

at this point they should both play. bring daniels in on running plays.

I think it's a dumb thought.
Daniels definitely isn't built like a RB. He's built like a WR, but we have so many quality WRs there's no reason to expect him to be in the top 7.
I also question Nuss at QB. I'd like to see how he does. But, my expectations are pretty low. The most likely scenario is that we don't have a quality QB right now.

No, we have 500 WR's who are better than JD. Just sit him on the bench, the light may never come on.

How about we just let a walk on take the majority of the snaps?

This is being said as though Nussmeier has something to offer. Daniels isn't my top pick for QB1, but Nussmeier doesn't bring anything to the table. He has looked awful in every opportunity.

This. People crying for Nuss like it can't be worse. Friends. It can always be worse.

I think he looked alright against New Mexico

Look he said Nuss has looked awful in every opportunity so I refuted that. Who has Jayden Daniels looked good against this year?

that is not true about Nuss.
He had one bad outing against southern trying to do too much when his 3rd string te got knocked down.
He was really good against NM when he played with the ones.
He threw 5 passes against TENN and 4 of them were perfect. 3 dropped and the one poor pass (possibly) was high oob but toward a receiver that ran an out pattern 5 yds short of a first down, so oob pass was probably the safe throw.
Nuss was in a tough place at Auburn , cold and on the aub 10 yd line in a loud tough stadium with the game on the line. I thoght he performed very very well.
Where do you get this bad play every time he plays from. That is a myth.

I've thought this for the past couple weeks now; move to a 2 QB system. Nuss appears to me to have the better overall QB skillset so he can run the majority of the offense. JD can run the entirety of the offense as well combined with his running could be an effective RPO scheme in right situations. We have become so predictable and easily schemed against now that mixing in both QBs would completely keep the opposing defenses off-balanced not knowing what they will get when JD comes in for certain situations. It maximizes both players best skillsets. I'm sure it's tough on the coaches to prepare an offensive game plan for two QBs but at this point, we either accept a non-explosive, clunky, mediocre offense or try something unorthodox to generate some success.

Some of you people need to filter your thoughts better.

He looked OK against BM and threw some nice passes . Give him a shot . It may build a fire under the butt of JD to get him to throw to open receivers downfield .

He was pretty rough vs Arkansas last year too, and I really wanted him to ball out in that game. He did look good in limited time vs NM and vs Ole Miss last season.
I said it last week and got torched, but I think Daniels and Nuss should rotate. Take advantage of their strengths and make defenses prepare for some different looks. It’s not ideal, but our QB situation for this season just is what it is at this point.

I’d be open to having Perkins try his hand under center at this point
