My take is that Jayden Daniels is just a very likeable guy on and off the field.

Finally heard JD5 interviewed last night and you can tell he is a confident charismatic kid that does sound like he would be easy to like on and off field

Things getting good baws…..

Wow. That’s been the deal the whole time with some of y’all. Upset that people were on his arse because he wouldn’t throw the ball and to you it was because he was a black QB. Newsflash. Some of us don’t give a shite what race he is. We don’t care if it’s a transvestite playing QB. We just want LSU to win and a lot of the time the QB has to be the one to do that. It’s a fricking shame that people are more worried about the race of our QB and can’t look past that to see how terrible he played for the first 5 games of the seasons when people were calling for a change. Well guess what. The lights came on for the driver of the limo and he’s playing awesome. Some of us couldn’t be more proud of him and the team but it’s people like you that ruin that for everyone with your racist arse comments.

The players no longer look to have the Oregon mentality of me first.

I think posters on this board often attribute their own character to the players they criticize

But he is acting like a great teammate and not sulking. It's really great to see how he has bought into the success of the team regardless of his personal situation.

He was always this you dumbass. People didn’t know shite about Nuss prior.

I appreciate the fact that outwardly he's enthusiastically supporting Jaden and the team, but let's be real. Inside, he is ROOTING LIKE HELL for Daniels to screw up. This kid wants to play, and if he doesn't see a path to the starting job, his arse will be gone after the year. He may very well like Jaden a lot, but that doesn't change the above sentiment.

Now, you neanderthals are gonna get your panties all in a twist, but if you take off the LSU sunglasses and TRULY digest what I posted in the previous paragraph, you know I'm right. I also told everyone (to MUCH backlash) all summer and through camp Daniels would be the starter, and I have ZERO inside source to the program. At that stage of Daniel's career, he is transferring where his arse will play. PERIOD.

Before I'm hit with the "since you know it all, give me the winning lottery numbers you prick" comments, I don't know everything. But I do know how high level recruits think (especially at QB), and understand that they have a limited amount of time to play in college and hopefully move on to a pro career. That typically doesn't happen when you're signalling in plays instead of running the offense yourself .

Nuss has been active and engaged on the sidelines since Week 1. Seems like a great teammate.

if Jayden keeps this up and beats Alabama, puts us in the SECCG, maybe the playoffs

he will be way up in the draft boards and will likely go which gives in the team to Nuss next year, unless Howard beats him out
