That’s good news

We’ve been pretty lucky last few years in regards to qb health

I wish I had a list of all the doom and gloomers that sais he was gone if JD started

He was and is in a perfect spot. Has two years to start on a growing Kraken of a team

LSU quarterback room is in great shape. Geaux Tigers

Meanwhile, Walker Howard and his Ego are a solid Third String at Massa Wife (Ole Miss) after the Spring.

He'll be running the Rebel Bear Sharks scout team in Oxford, just like in Red Stick........

Nuss will eventually be near-Burrow caliber. Give him receivers!

to say that one bad half or one loss would have turned people against Burrow is dumb.

Especially with Walker Howard gone, the starting job is his to lose next year. No reason to transfer in terms of play time potential.

if and when he plays

He has played and although he’s looked good at times his touchdowns to interceptions is scary. And he provides the opposing defenses no worries with his legs.

He’s been around a few years now and hopefully you can get the job done if needed.

It is rather odd that this is a story But that’s life these days.

To be honest, I'm a little shocked that he's staying, but I'm glad he is for sure. This day and age, most players don't want to wait their turn or want to chase the next NIL deal, but that doesn't always work out.

Just ask Ricks how it worked transferring out!

I wonder how much influence his father had in his decision making process

Why in gods green earth would he even consider leaving? He has three more years and will be the starter next year . This is how it is supposed to be. Wow

Transfer portal exists. I think he has to sit if he transfers in-conference this late, but I think he go outside and play right away.

He's behind Daniels here, could likely walk into any number of spots around the country and start right away.

He put an end to speculation he would do that.

No duh he's staying. He will get some snaps this year and has 1 or 2 seasons to start at LSU. He'd be crazy to leave that

He’s a true Tiger and the heir apparent.
Really hoping JD5 has a 2019 Burrow type of transition though.

Nuss has always talked about his dream to play QB for LSU. He was an early commitment as a recruit and recruited other players relentlessly.
He is Purple and Gold to the core.

There’s guys entering the portal from P5 schools that are established starters.

I’m extremely happy he stayed but everyone pretending like leaving wasn’t an option or realistically on the table is silly. It’s a part of the game now

I bet having Joe Sloan here was a big factor. Nuss's ultimate goal is to be an NFL player and knowing that you have a dedicated QB coach to develop you matters.

I agree but at the same time LSU has arguably been the #1 beneficiary of the T.P. to date

Nope, that would be USC.
