Just run routes/throw passes to the middle of the field and run designed running plays and the offense will open up massively.

He also isnt stepping INTO throws.
Because of his bum knee. It's probably painful to step into throws so he throws off the back foot most of the time. Couple that in with the torso injury (that's supposed to now be healed). And you have the mechanics that we've seen so far this year. Throwing lobs because his throwing power is all from his shoulder and arm.

Game managers don’t make awful decisions consistently
Including burning a timeout in the first possession or two every game.

How? You have to move the chains and not turnover the ball to "game manage".. We probably lead the country in 3 and outs for a major P4 team.

I don’t even think Nuss is a game manager. More like a game wrecker.

So are we just saying things to say things? Because thats an ENTIRELY wrong word salad.
His knee injury is on his left knee. Which is not his plant knee. So, in other words, his patellar tendonitis would have LITTLE AFFECT on his performance since he's only using his left knee to transfer energy from his throwing motion.
In other words, if it was his RIGHT KNEE, we could blame it on his knee "injury" since you use that to generate power. Also, Patellar tendonitis takes like 6 weeks to heal in most serious cases. It was reported as a 1.5 out of 10.
But go ahead. Blame his injury and give him another excuse.

Nuss is immobile a QB as Mett was and Mett
No he's not.

A team is CERTAINLY better off today in CFB with a very mobile QB.
No they're not. The QB position is far more complicated than narrowing it down to mobility as the most necessary asset. Otherwise you could just stick wide receivers in there. Obviously being mobile is preferable, but it isn't a necessity. You need a balance of mobility and passing skills, mental acuity, etc. The main thing is you need to tailor your offense to who your quarterback is one way or another, and our coaches clearly failed at that.

The frick are you talking about?
He's the total opposite of a game manager. He makes terrible decisions that lead to turnovers.
Are you saying this because of his skin color? If so do better.

Not even. A game manager doesn’t throw wild ints
Posted on 10/30/25 at 11:37 am to helllo_heisman002
He's failing at his job then.

a game manager doesn't throw the INTs he does into double and triple coverage. Game managers don't have many strengths, but one is keeping the ball by making safe choices.
I think with some work Nuss could become a game manager

Nuss is the complete opposite of a game manager QB.

I don't think you know what a game manager is

Right, the left knee is injured. Which is why he throws off the back foot (right leg) to take weight off of the left. He doesn't follow through on his throws because to do so transfers weight from his right (healthy) to left (injured).

Virtually no chance with Nuss. He'll be on the seat of his pants more often than he completes a pass.
Very slim chance with MVB, though I like what I've seen from him so far in very limited action. Just turn him loose and see him perform in live game action-- he could be the next Diego Pavia, or Marcel Reed, or TJ Finley. Nobody kneaux, but at this point in time, the devil we know is a lost cause, so let's check out the devil we don't know.

He really managed the game well in week 1. I was really impressed. Had sort of a weird game against La Tech and reverted to trying to do too much.
