There may have been a reason they limited his passing reps during fall camp.

My thoughts exactly. Rest him this week.

It looked to me like he thought he had a free play

They should rest him and give sela to Van Buren . Install some read option/ RPO's to see what we have in him if Nuss ever really were to go down. I don't the like the idea that if Nuss goes down that might be the end of the season

Ugh

That actually makes it worse, considering he thought he had a free play and THAT was the free play throw he was gonna take?

Low IQ QB

He does that once or twice a game.

He thought he had a free play and chose a 5 yard pass across his body? No, he does one or two stupid things every game. We just have to live with it.

This. When I first saw the flag I thought it was offsides on the defense.

Then throw the ball into the end zone, not a 5 hard pass across your body.

Is it just me or during the play and after the pick did it seem like Nuss really didn’t give a crap?

He probably thought the flag was a defensive penalty and wasn't worried about the pick.

He still believes he can make every throw that he wants to. He has to learn better.

The issue I saw with Nuss this week was he was throwing off his back foot too much. he also does not seem on the same page as some of the receivers - could be the receiver's fault - but he had a wide open guy over the middle and threw it 4 feet to his left and yelled at him for not being in the right location.

I think Nuss is good, but not elite. I think he would be helped if the OL would move into the second line of the defense on run plays. They are moving side to side with out moving forward at all. This would improve the rushing game and take some pressure off him.

That was just a poor QB decision. Nothing to do with an injury (unless he has an eye injury).

He did not stop and listen to Kelley bitching at him, amd went straight to the bench. Since last year, I've seen Kelley jump down his throat several times when he was coming off of the field.
I think most of the players are tired of Kelley going ballistic on them, and frankly don't respect him anymore.

I have never seen a right tackle get beat so bad on a one on one block. Davis#75 literally whiffs his block grabs the guy and fell on top of him for the holding call on the Nuss int on that play.
