Dude he tore his oblique where have you been. That’s why he couldn’t throw the ball. Kelly should have been fired for forcing him to play. He knew MVB and Hurley were garbage but still

It’s all speculation at this point. He gets a reset. Let’s see what he can do.

Ignoring 2025, he has a LOT of work to do.

His footwork is still terrible and never improved

He's bad at the mental game and can't read Ds well and melts down

He still has a gunslinger mentality which is bad for the NFL

It worked out for Farve and others and I think he would be the first to admit he has plenty work to do.

Its real easy! Coaching! A QB is only as good as his coach and Nuss had the worse and conversely, Barrow hit the jackpot! Not to mention, the coaches really cowtail to him giving Barrow talking room. Remember what made Barrow great in the 2019 season? JOE BRADY! AN OFFENSIVE STRATEGIST!

I'd be shocked if he did anything of noteworthiness but then again Craig Nall was in the NFL for little bit so anything is po

How could Kelly force him to play? The answer is, he couldn't.

Favre also played in a much simpler era for QB play and defenses

This is awesome. I have no idea what the frick you're trying to say and assume you're not a native English speaker, but this is a great post.

he played in 9 games with a messed up lateral oblique. He threw over 30 passes in 7 of those games.

Depending on just how bad that injury was, his toughness might be WAY more than you give him credit for. If it was a grade 3, he likely should have sat most of the season.

Just ask yourselves if you feel like Joe Burrow would have been that ineffective with the same injury?
The answer would be no.

Are you an MD? If so, explain exactly Nuss' injury.

Joe has missed several games during his NFL career. He isn't invincible either.

Didn't Nuss have a better first year as a starter than both Joe and Daniels? Daniels was a third year starter, his first season at LSU.
