I care more about leg strength.

number needs context. his YPA nor downfield game was not good that year. that great rate was from lots of dink and dunk passes.

Aaron Rodgers wasn't perfect in college and continued to develop well into his NFL career. Im just saying Nuss has the tools to be that guy

Aaron Rodgers is one of the 3-5 best QBs to ever play football.

Can we find other comps here? This is lazy.

Nussmeier's arm is fine, he can make any throw needed. But drop the link to a throw or 2 that shows me he is different. I havent seen evidence of this.

Russell had the strongest arm. Mettenberger had a rifle as well.

Wasn't Brennan known for a strong arm?

The TD throw to Malik Nabers vs Georgia was different. That's a pick majority of the time

Jayden Daniels had incredible arm talent and almost always had the ball in a good spot for the WR to make a catch. He won the heisman and is STILL underrated IMO

Nuss might have the best arm in the country. Def best in the sec

Please tell us how you came to this conclusion? What evidence did you use to know where Nuss sits on the national level as far as arm talent goes? How many other QBs have you seen outside of Nuss?

How do yall have the balls to say some of this shite?

These conversations are kinda fun but oh so meaningless. If that extra arm strength made a difference, he wouldn't have been a backup this long.

The last In terms of strictly arm talent? Mettenberger, Lee, Perriloux, Russel in reverse chronological order.

You believe he is ahead of 2 Heisman winners?

He is far ahead of Burrow and slightly ahead of Daniels. We are talking arm talent, not who the best QB is.

I’m simply saying arm strength

Okay, arm strength is different from arm talent. Arm talent is strength, accuracy and quickness in the delivery. Bert Jones and JaMarcus are in a league of their own for LSU QBs.

Nuss' talent reminds of J Lee with the quick release but with more mobility to escape. He also doesn't have the head problems and a backup with the goat pics.

Man... there's going to be some serious 2009 - 2018 TD nostalgia if Nuss doesn't light it up this season.

You say that, and I tend to agree. But it’s kind of funny… if you look at 2018, our defense was not elite

Yeah, that was a weird season. We had a 4th quarter lead in every game with the exception of the Bama debacle. Burrow was a helluva game manager, throwing only 5 ints all season. The two he threw against UF killed us though, especially the pick 6 late.
