While Hess is seriously struggling, at least I am able to watch the game with a lot more ease using my Fire stick.

Catching , SS, 3rd base ,and pitching are weak. We have zero threat to throw anyone out. I sure miss PAP. These starting pitchers are very disappointing. If Notre Dame is doing this to us what do you think happens when we play SEC teams? Guess these boys are full of themselves!

And we can’t hit ! Notre Dame is spraying it and we can’t hit rag arm Notre Dame pitchers???

No clue but we really need younger guys to step up. Hopefully we can get a starter or two out of these Freshmen.

Gilbert is an ok reliever, Hess is a dynamic closer. Neither are starters. Fact... face it guys, what we are having to do with our pitchers is even worse than what we are having to do with our corners in fbaw.

We are playing ppl out of position and they will not be near as effective as they could be.

Fact is Hess was just an ok starter last year. He didn’t become dominant until he went to the pen. I don’t know why everyone thought he was just going to step in an be a top of line starter. He’s never been more than mid week starter, and only an average one at that.

Might be better going another direction at SP, even if it’s an unproven guy. It’s still just one start, but I never liked the idea of Hess starting and going more than an inning or two.

If this was little league they’d be checking his birth certificate that’s for sure.

Maneiri might as well be willing to throw a bunch of different pitchers out there to get starts and innings to find something before SEC play gets here.

Hess needs to end games, not start them.
