Well, Central Michigan gave Mizzou a decent game, and they're coached by McElwain who gave LSU fits as the Florida coach. But LSU will be favored for this game and should win, but after the utter debacle v UCLA and some games last year I'm not taking anything for granted, even this week.

We are sitting here worried about McNeese and will we look ok. That is all we really need to know.

That's his point. No matter what they do with McNeese it's not going to change what has happened since the national championship game. Personally, I hope McNeese blows them out so we can expedite the process of replacing this putrid coaching staff.

They need to win 4 straight to get people to buy back in. Beating McNeese, Central Michigan, and a horrible Mississippi State team aren’t and shouldn’t inspire any real confidence. Now beat those 3 cleanly and then beat Auburn at home and then we’ll talk about this thing actually being turned around.
