I love that man but

Pinch hitting for Neal in the 5th
Sending Kling when UF was ready for a pitch out
Letting Cags see a reliever 3 times
Shifting left side and pitching outside LHP to a righty

None of those were good calls. Jump, Guidry, and Ack combined for a phenomenal performance. Some bad umpiring didn't help in the 4th and a freak play on Milazzo in the 9th cost us. If we're to place any blame on the players it would be the leadoff walks.

But Tommy White had an IF single and 2 SBs. How do you waste a performance like that?

You’re not allowed to criticize coaching around here. Haven’t you heard? Jay is a God who can do no wrong.

To be fair, the single came with 2 outs in the 10th and at least one SB was a defensive indifference, could make the argument for two.

He hasn't had a good series at the plate.

Dude it's Tommy White. He's not gonna put up a stat sheet like that again the rest of his life. Of course it required some help

My point is that an infield single and 2 SB is not some gritty performance from White at the plate, it was a bad performance at the plate.

Wasted Frey early, too. At worst you have to find a way to keep him in the game

Those have been absolutely brutal lately. But, this game is over. Put it behind you and move on to Sunday.

I was in and out of the game and didn't read any of this game thread until the last out. Did they mention what they thought Brown's injury is? I'm assuming he was hurt and didn't get pulled for not running that ball out.

I think you went a little past “criticism” here, bud. Sounds personal to me.

Looked like a hammy. Trainers were looking at him. Definitely medical related

the difference between a win and a loss is a ball rolling a little too far from Milazzo

Yeskie is a good pitching coach. You try too hard.
