I don’t see what was wrong with his question. “Is Angel going on the trip to the Caymans?”
He didn’t ask what caused her absence? That’s between Coach and player. He simply asked if she was going on the trip…what’s wrong with that?

That question in a vacuum is fine, but Mulkey repeatedly said she wasn't giving anymore information except that Angel is part of the team and will be back with them sooner rather than later. Coaches usually get combative when they tell reporters up front they aren't addressing something, yet continued to get asked about it.

So the guy never shows up to a press conference but then he shows up to ask “the hard questions.” He is being applauded by some for asking the question, but he just shows up when there is a chink in the armor so he can stir up shite.

That fool exhausted any goodwill he had regarding LSU decades ago. His presence at any LSU presser or media event is an insult to LSU, its players, coaches, and fans.

You don't see why coach and fans rightly criticize a guy who doesn't cover women's basketball showing up once in his career to ask a controversial question to a coach who has been getting manufactured drama questions from the press (last year it was all about Griner)?
What if I told you that this guy once wrote without a shred of evidence whatsoever that Tyrann Mathieu was going to transfer to Alabama?
What if I told you he had a repeated history fabricating negative scenarios under the guise of an opinion piece for many LSU sports?
If you don't get why people are ripping that carpetbagging trash bag, you haven't been paying attention for like two decades.

If she would have said "yes", the next question from G would have been, "then she's not suspended?"
If she would have said "no" the next question from G would have been, "why is she suspended?"
Someone with the experience level he has knows how to ask a lead-in question that will lead to the question they really want to ask.

Nothing. The reason people are jumping on him and cheering Mulkey for bullying him, is that they think Guilbeau is full of himself, and Mulkey not knowing who he was is funny in light of that.

And you couldn’t be more wrong. She has zero interest in that. She wants to win and that’s it.
BTW - YOU AND EVERY OTHER PERSON, DO NOT DESERVE ANYTHING. The coach MUST FIRST SND FOREMOST PROTECT THEIR PLAYERS.
