Guilbeau was a an average but objective beat writer back in the day. He did a solid job when I was growing up and enjoyed reading his coverage. He became a "click" guy at some point in his career once the internet and twitter became mainstream. He wants to be a Finebaum type, edgy writer , but his schtick is old and tired.

Why do you call him a carpetbagger?

He is from Metairie, started @ LSU then transferred to Mizzou for their allegedly better Journalism curriculum.

Thought a carpetbagger was a northerner who came south, not vice versa.

Because he came to a press conference in a sport he doesn't cover to sow discord. He's quite literally a women's basketball carpetbagger.

So prior to last year, how many LSU WBB games did you attend or games did you watch on TV?

You don't have to answer because we already know. It's funny how so many of you criticize Glenn for not going to every game, but up until last year, 99% of you had absolutely ZERO interest in WBB and most of you probably didn't even know they had a women's basketball team.

Of course, I'm sure most will respond and say they've been following LSU WBB for the last 20 years, which we all know is a load of crap!
