Gray was good. Nola was better.

Great job by LSU to break through although it took 120 pitches.

I would say the two pitchers are of equal talent. LSU hitters are much better, though! Nola is definitely one of the best pitchers in the nation!

Bottom of the lineup did the damage.

Nola undefeated. Gray, not so much.

As I expected.

So does this mean Laird is a top 2 pick when he gets drafted? He ripped Gray a new one.

Gray has/had better stuff, Nola had better command and control. Both were awesome though.

Gray only had his fastball and slider. Nice pitches but he needs to develop a third pitch (change up?) to move up to the next level.

I love that LSU gave Gray a loss and not a no decision. Suck muh balls.

So?

Of all batters to hit Gray.. it was Laird..

But yes Gray is like a Stephen Strasburg except not as good

They'll teach him to throw a curveball. He's a legit talent that made us look silly at times.

LSU did exactly what you are supposed to do when facing a big arm. They were patient, worked the count, and made him throw a bunch of pitches.

Gray had problems with his fast ball, and location.. He was relying on his slider, and we just didn't adjust till late. Nola is a better pitcher, but Gray's potential for the next level, and his velocity are just elite...

Nola is not a better pitcher than Gray. Stop with the BS. Nola is a very good college pitcher who will get a shot in the pro ball, but he is not a top 3 prospect for major league ball.
