The truth is Lane was trying to humble them, called a vanilla offense, and ran into 8 and 9 man boxes. Also Watkins gave half-assed efforts and Sam was pushing. Got it together and scored 31 straight points in 6 minutes. If Ole Miss is confident based on that film God help them.

I’d focus way more on the Clemson tape than La tech. While it was obviously a cleaner game, they ran a ton out of pistol and a shite ton of motion. You didn’t see that against Tech probably for a reason

I wish lsu would wear the purple jerseys just to shiut up the idiots thinking it’s bad luck. LSU has lost more wearing the white jerseys. Hopefully Kiffin stops the wearing white every dam game

My exact words to my sister on Sunday.

Her response, "No shite! Every time we wear them we play bad. Burn the god damn things."

Do yall really think it's a coincidence that the worst stretch of football in LSU history took place while the NCAA didn't allow teams to wear white jerseys at home, and came to an end after the rule change?

LSU should only ever where White jerseys in Tiger Stadium.

Maybe, but I always thought it was mainly because LSU had coaches like Mike Archer and Curley Hallman roaming the sidelines. Dinardo's last 2 years didn't help either.

We were running into five and six man boxes and getting stuffed by safeties who were outside the box.

It’s not the freaking jersey. It’s playing scrub teams that the players overlook and it’s the opponents superbowl. My God yall are crybabies. Most of the recruits take their pictures with the purple. Let them wear it.

This right here is why I hate the mentality that LSU should wear purple, but only for non conference home games. The psychology is simple:

“Oh…we’re wearing purple this week? The backups are going to get their PT and the starters will rack up easy stats against outmatched opponents.”

Is that ever a good mindset to have when stepping into competition?

Have a uniform. Stick with it. They say the clothes make the man. Make the man consistent. He’s the same player against Nicholls as he is against Alabama. Have an alternate contrasting uniform for the occasional situation where it’s needed.

But to win consistently, you have to be consistent in everything you do. The clothes make the man.

One primary uniform.

That’s why I’d like them to go back to wearing purple every home game. The recruits like the purple jerseys. Let them wear them.

No, but one for sure reason for some of the offensive struggles was the extremely vanilla play calling against Tech. I can guarantee you that is not the offense that Lane and Weiss ran at Ole Miss and will not be the offense they’ll run against Ole Miss tomorrow or anyone else the rest of the year.

What is with the fashion police lately. I don’t remember this many threads on what the team is wearing, ever.

Anyone who knows football knows Kiffen went very vanilla against Tech. It was very obvious. Didn’t throw over the middle to Green until 3rd qtr. kept running inside against 8/9 man in the box. And Tech has some good defensive players and a good DC.
