No one wants to hear it, but this game will be similar to Texas.

We ran a very different defensive scheme that game than we have for the last several.

I honestly don't think that Texas game was necessarily fair on the outlook of it. It was the offenses first real game and by far the defense's first game...georgia southern running triple option did nothing for the defense. They were tired 2h..conditioning has improved every game..

We are better offensively now than we were in that game also. I watched it again the other day, and we are much more crisp and overall just executing better than then. Which is understandable given that was game 2.

I wouldn't disagree with the OP, except that we'll stretch the lead out further. I might expect Clemson to stay within range - 3 scores or so, and keep chipping away and then we keep coming back and scoring again.

More like the Alabama game. Without the fluke TD at the end. 46-34 LSU

LSU continues to get better.

LSU is a far superior team since then IMO.

I doubt we try to cage rush anyone ever again. Gave Ehlinger all day to throw, and it didn't even limit his legs that much.

I don’t care if we win 3-2 like the miss st auburn game years ago. When the clock hits zero as long as we have one more point than Clemson I will be happy. I would gladly take the same result as the Texas game

Have you watched our defense the last 3 games? Totally different animal these days.

If LSU played Texas last week the score would've looked similar to what they did to OU.

And the Georgia game was going to be so difficult because their defense was so good...And the Oklahoma game was going to be a shootout because their offense was amazing and our defense could not stop Jalen...blah blah blah blah...LSU 48-Clesmon 31.

If so, that would make it one of the most entertaining LSU games ever. Like the 2007 Florida game, that Texas game featured a LSU offense putting the game away by imposing its will in the closing minutes, and creating LSU legend in the process. You will be able to say "Third and Seventeen" decades from now and people will know what you're talking about. I hope the impending defeat of Clemson will be that memorable.
