check this out

If it doesn't make sense let me know, the corner LEDs will be awesome, I don't know that anyone will bitch about them, unless you can't see them.

NEZ will still have it's detractors. I think the sound system will be a ??? It's the same as last year and it may sound great with the endzone closed in, but it was way too loud last year, so I'm holding off on judgement until it has a chance to get tweaked.

Agreed on traffic, they really have to get together with city PD and SO to make a plan and make it consistent. I think that was the biggest problem, one week you could, next week you couldn't.

I'm excited to see what people think about the stadium, I think fans will get a kick out of it. It's just so different and really it happened in one off-season. That first game should be fun for long time fans.

Another cool thing that I don't think people have talked about, there are two "smaller" suites that can be rented out for game by game groups. Maybe gives people a chance at a suite experience who might have wanted one, but couldn't buy in for a season or longer.

Also upper deck fo SEZ will be offered to youth groups/etc for lower tier games at discounted prices, so that could be cool. Maybe like the party deck at Jerry World... but it is way up there, so who knows.

Oh wow thats great. Thanks for the pic. I was under the impression the 4 spots would be ads not stats, down and distance, timeouts, etc...

It looks like the game shown on the video board will now look like when they would show pregame videos in full screen previously.

They need to get rid of those ads they added on to the sides last season.

LSU Admins- Arched facade up top to cover up the lego blocks! Make it happen in 2015!

The stadium does look wonderful. I'll have to get a new Tiger Stadium model replica for my office now.

those four spots will be ads, they won't change, they're like the plastic sheet ads on bus stops or movie posters at the theater (backlit).

There will be a "ticker" like down and distance below the video you see there, so if I had to guess, maybe as little as an 1/8 to as much as a 1/4 of that would be eaten by the ticker. Probably from their socks down in that picture that we're looking at of the Auburn game.

I think it depends on how much they can utilize the video ribbon board. The point they wanted to make was that the LED portions of those screens will all be used for football, not ads.

The "enhanced" speaker systems that were installed last year were nothing more than an excuse to throw up additional ad space.

If Cauble's report is accurate, then the video board on the north end zone is only losing approximately 4 ad spaces. The video boards in the south end zone add a total of 8 new ad spaces, which results in a net addition of 4 ads in the stadium.

Eddie's comment is a joke. Yeah, corporate sponsors have really been "receptive and understanding to what the fans want."

Unless the fans wanted more ads, then no, I'm not sure the corporate sponsors "understand" what the fans want. The only thing they really want is to pollute more of the stadium with their brandings, and evidently, Eddie and the rest of the AD will gladly acquiesce.

How long until we start painting Coca-Cola bottles on both sides of the field?

Well considering they were in the South Endzone before. They pretty much had to put them somewhere.

Who gives a shite at the "net addition of 4 spaces" as long as it's not taking away from the LED screen. The fact is its opening up the screen more, and the new 8 ads don't take up any prime real estate.

Always something to bitch about around here...

Exactly. The problem wasn't that there were too many ads. The problem was that they were using video screen real estate to display ads thereby lowering the resolution of the video. The fans said "We want to see video on the screens, not ads." And that's what they did.

Hey, I sit in the visiting section to razz the other team. It's psychological warfare. I almost got my butt kicked three times. Now that's school spirit..
