The word from a Baton Rouge merch store that ordered a shite ton of #13 jerseys, is that Nuss assured them he's staying 13. I believe it, because I believe in capitalism... it's the American way. I hope Whit Weeks gets 18.

I would argue 7 means more to this day and age of players. Tyrann Mathieu and Patrick Peterson were not just LSU stars they were superstars in the college football landscape.

I could anrgue against this. This became manufactured when O gave it to the receiver coming in form tech. It’s been a huge hit or miss with who gets and wears 7 whereas 18 was started by a leader and given down to who he thinks is a leader. 7 is the swag number, mostly manufactured. Not to deny PP and HB weren’t awesome in those numbers but if the 2 numbers 7 is most definitely the generated one off of “swag” level.
