See you failed to list temperature.
it was 46 in Baton Rouge and 55 in Athens. Plus it was sunny in Athens....
So just to be clear.... it was indeed colder and the wind was much stronger (and blowing directly in) in Baton Rouge, correct?
Or do you want to double down and still say those are the same conditions?

You’re going to get downvoted but it’s true. This team can’t string together 3-4 hits. just not that good
Damn people. It’s game 2

Going to base the season on one very cold, very windy day?? Wow ...just wow...
Posted on 2/17/24 at 11:10 pm to In The Know
FYI: in game 2 last year we beat Western Michigan 5-3 (2 run victory) and Crews was 0-3.

Is this sarcasm? I really can’t tell anymore. If it isn’t……
Bro. There were 18-20 mph winds blowing inward at the box
There were 6-8 mph winds in Athens.
I know it’s hard….but Please don’t be stupid

I would love to see you go out there, with the cold and wind like it was yesterday.
You’re probably some fat slob living in your moms basement who has never played baseball.

Wrong again. It was 44 or 45 at gametime with windy and overcast conditions. Just please stop lying. Jesus

Remarkable! You're already bitching after the second game of the season.

What are you trying to insinuate about uga? Do you think they are a better team than lsu?

Obviously Georgia is going to win the natty this year. They put up 15 runs in cold weather. I don’t know that LSU should even keep playing. Cancel the damn season already.

Don't hold back now. It is actually no Crews, Morgan, Dugas, Jobert and Beloso. Let that sink in....huge production missing from any lineup.
I like the mix of hitters we have and I trust CJJ that with PT these guys will get better. With that said the pitching and D are spot on. Looking forward to seeing Coleman, Johnson, Moffit, Little and hopefully Jump today/tomorrow.

On top of weather, there are other variables in baseball that can determine the hitting output, and the outcome. What pitchers were they facing? What ball park were they playing in? To say that “Georgia hit four or five home runs in one game with similar weather (it wasn’t),” thus they are better than LSU is pretty asinine.

Nobody will admit that Crews made this offense go? Not just his production but his spots in the order protecting other hitters, being on base and affecting the pitcher’s selection and rhythm, the pressure he puts on the entire defense when he’s batting with runners on base? We have no Crews on this team (yes he was generational) so of course he carried this team last year. Why is that a ridiculous statement? Damn you baseball twats are insufferable.

Your sample size is 18 innings. In the terms of a baseball season that’s like judging a QB after 1 series.

Not about baseball, apparently.

You’re coming off as soft. I think people are trying to say that yes we have no Crews. However, not a single team in the country has a Crews. So in other words who gives a shite?

This isn’t football or basketball. Dylan was a generational player, but no one player can carry a team in baseball. If that were the case, the Padres would have had several championships simply because they had Tony Gwinn all those years.

Because of Paul Skenes, Tommy White, Tre Morgan, Cade Beloso, Hayden Travinski, and the outstanding pitching in Omaha, you moron
