I think I comprehend more than you do based on this response. Talk about missing the point.
you missed your own damn point. You said "you can't just say #7" well they didn't they specifically told you "to talk to our running backs". So are you just being stupid for jokes or are you really stupid?

Feel better?

I know this was about fournette because op said “running backs.” My issue is not with that. It just got me thinking that because we do the stupid number thing you have to be specific now when saying “number 7.” OP was specific enough, and I knew what he meant. I was just annoyed that the number 7 has been worn out so much that the immediate association isn’t there, like with 3 or 9.

Sucks he had to say running backs, and can’t just leave it at number 7.

I think it’s a fair point that went over your head. Not blaming you—I was unclear. But maybe chill out just a wee little bit. It’s Friday.

Man some of y'all can complain about anything. You click a link and I posted the snippet so it's easy to tell who it was

Not the point I was making. Thanks for the link. My issue isn’t anything you did—just the nature of the #7.

but because the number thing has been played out and beaten to death, you can't just say "number 7" and have people know exactly who you're talking about.

When I said this I didn’t mean YOU specifically.

You had to specify which number 7 it was by adding “running back.” Just wish you didn’t have to.

Nope. Number one was Leonard Fournette. And as Donald Trump says, It’s not even close.

And BTW, several have reposted the comment that “he might not have lived up to expectations”. What? He was tremendous. The only thing separating him from the Heisman is that Bama, and others, could just stack the box and Miles was too stupid to make them pay for it.

He murdered ole Miss but I think you’re rewriting history with the one leg part. He was healthy at that point.

He ran for 3800 yards in 3 seasons and had 2200 total yards (1900 rushing) in 2015.
Dude exceeded expectations.
