This is normal, because the bet market is trying to get a bunch of easily manipulated morons to make a vote based on recency bias.
Nix is a great QB and may very well win, but he's only the favorite this instant because he was the most recent to play and had a pretty good game.
The Pac 12 may be the most overrated conference in the country right now. No legit OOC P5 wins. Maybe UF is their best one.

Jayden could very well benefit from 2 west coast qbs vs him. The votes for them may get split and east side rides with Daniels

How could you interpret that the response from the poster was that he is saying Daniels is the odds on favorite? His response “ you are wrong” is to the OP saying Nix stock has dropped.

It’s over for Daniels. Nix will win it,. It’s stupid because Daniels is clearly better but that doesn’t really matter anymore.

LSU has a bad habit of collapsing against a&m when they aren’t supposed to. We’ve seen this a bunch of times in the past.
That 11am thing is gonna be a problem for the players having a big game. Even worse if it’s chilly. The defense needs to keep the ball in the offense’s hands.

Yeah, IF Daniels can put up over 300 yards passing, over 50 rushing, over 3 TD’s no I t’s, AND get the win then I think he is the favorite.
With a loss, I think he’d have to do something insane but against tamu defense, that’s a real long shot

I’m seeing -110 to +110 between Daniels and Nix. Daniels odds are the same for a favorite, if anything Nix just closed the distance. Daniels will indeed need to be special today to remind voters who is the best PLAYER not team.

This is going to be similar to when Drew Brees lost the MVP to Mahomes, when clearly he was the better player that year. Mahomes was the cool next best thing and popular.
