Wow. What a moron. IF there is a nickname, it will be EARNED.... until then, "Declaration of In-da-defense" is not only one of the worst nicknames I've ever heard, but also completely ignorant....

When I saw Adams & Jefferson's names next to each other in the Mills injury thread, I noted the Founding Fathers motif myself. It has potential (but the Declaration joke is more miss than hit... maybe good for a quick chuckle when drinking with friends, but no staying power on that one).
Next year, assuming Eric Monroe is on board and getting on the field, the Founding Fathers joke will really have some legs. And if Isaiah Washington is on the field with them all, that would make a fine cherry on top (would be perfect if Washington was a DB, but still works).
Come to think of it, with Arden Key (Francis Scott Key), there's more potential jokes: Star Spangled Defense, The All Americans... probably more.
fwiw, I agree with the guy who said you can't force nicknames; they need to grow organically... so I don't think any of these will stick. But it's amusing enough to post (and a nice change from some of the repetitive threads we see on here).
