Hey Nick, the players and coaches are paid to be there the fans are not. One would think the team would want to play 100% in an empty stadium.
That is some pussy arse mentally for a coach or player to get their feelings hurt because the fans leave due to shite product on the field.

i think the point he is trying to make is that LSU loses a big advantage when fans leave early in crucial night games in tiger stadium

Don't blame me with the leaving early part. My family and I stay for the entire game. We brought our two year old son to his first game which had an 8:00 kick (Auburn in 2021 - screw that game and Bo Nix). We have brought toddlers and infants and we stay for the whole thing. If we can do it, anyone can do it.
To be fair, my kids normally act better than the adult fans around us, but that is neither here nor there.
We even stayed for the disaster with A&M last year. We watched the aggies act like they had won the title. Still makes me sick.

Exactly. Look at the crowds at those late 90's games, people went crazy. Back when real football fans filled the entire Tiger Stadium. Plus, you would get cussed out for leaving early.

Those are good points but they sound like reasons not to go at all.
If you are going to go to a game anyway, and you already decided you’re going to put up with all that, might as well stay for the whole thing.
I think it’s because season ticket holders take what they’ve got for granted. It’s no big deal to them. I get to go to a game once every 10 years or so, and I have to travel a ways to do it. I stay for the whole game even if it’s a cupcake (which is usually the case). I want to squeeze everything I can out of it.
