Pavia isn’t built like Sellers and he won’t be shedding tackles from our DL all night.

Pavia has been much, much better running the ball than Sellers has this year.

Being a better runner is not necessarily the same as being better at shedding tackles.

This is the worst offense Vandy will have faced…by far. lol

We're ranked 12th in the SEC. SC is 16th, so no.

Vandy’s defense isn’t that great but neither is LSU’s offense. The defense will once again have to play lights out to win this one. Need to make Vandy abandon the run game early like they did against Bama. They are a much better team when they are running down hill instead of relying on Pavia’s arm.

That may be true, but also not relevant to his point. Sellers made a lot of plays against us by breaking tackles with his size and strength. That's not been Pavia's style (from what I've seen). He's a lot more Manziel-like with evasiveness and awareness. That presents different problems, but problems we may be better suited to handle. And even if he does much better than Sellers, that's not saying much; we contained him very well.

I’m pretty confident, Charleston southern, Georgia state, South Carolina, and Utah state are all worse

This same guy was shut down by our horrid defense as a 5th year senior last year

Had to go check last year's schedule to confirm, but yeah, didn't we face this same guy last year? When he actually beat Bama? And he had like, what, 225 yards of total offense?

I'm not taking anything for granted, but I'm not all that worried.

Sellers was terrible. He cannot throw. That makes the gameplan on LSU’s end simple.

If Nuss doesn't turn the ball over… If our OLine can block well… If our wide receivers and tight end can stop dropping passes

You mean if we do EXACTLY the opposite of what we’ve done all year?

I'm somewhat worried about lsu's second and third levels vs the run game.

Vanderbilt was good most of the game against a very sound bama defense until bama went ahead and they had to throw the ball.

If lsu's defense can shut down Pavia early then I think lsu wins.

Vanderbilt has a very smart oc in Tim beck.

Nuss is "aggressive"? What you call aggressive, I call "stupid turnovers".

I sure hope the team isn’t overconfident like you are. If so we’ll get our butts kicked. Vandy is a very good team. They score a ton of points.

I don't see Pavia getting out of alot of those sacks like Sellers did.But we are going to need the offense to sustain a few drives and let the defense catch their breath.

Vandy had a bye week that’s never a good thing especially when we play at 11 we are never good playing at 11 am!! It always seems like the 11 am games are trouble for lsu! The. The other team has 2 weeks to prepare for you! It’s going to be a dog fight just as every game has been so far this season for lsu ! Book it!
