So before the season there was a lot of Nuss peeps saying he would be the starter that JD5 was horrible.

Now I hear people worried that Nuss is not mobile at all and there are questions.

Nuss defenders are very quiet. Now Nuss is the greatest teammate of all time. How did this kid go from best back up in college football, the guy who should be starting, and heir to the thrown to worrisome immobile. The free Nussmeier gang is pretty quiet.

That said CBK claim that he was a year away at the beginning of this season, seems to be far from close. LINK

My guess is CBK brings in another portal guy who's a true dual threat.

That will be a great off-season discussion.

And his goal will be 10 wins but, the next year, you just wait.

We are far from close. Plot twist: It's not because of Nuss or the offense.

Many many people do not want the best player to play. They did the same shite with Myles Brennan and many QBs before him

I think it’s more of a not knowing who the best player is than not wanting the best player to play.

Lol we’ve literally had 10 win seasons 3x in the last 10 years… stop acting like this is an unacceptable floor. Those types of seasons allows us to continue to stay relevant and build the program back.

Many people don’t want it to be the white kid.

Shockingly there are lots of people on this board with varying opinions. I know it sounds crazy, but those groups you mentioned might not be the same people.

We won’t have to be mobile next year. Great Oline coming back, RB talent, and solid TEs/WR. I can see more of traditional pocket passer. Pocket awareness is what’s most important.

This is how Rantard straw men become parroted Rant narratives.

His lack of mobility really doesn't bother me. There should be a potent o-line and running game to provide balance. Nuss' recklessness with the ball does bother but hopefully age and experience will reign that in.

What are you even saying? We have a Heisman candidate quarterback and you are wondering why people aren’t calling for the backup in the 2nd to last week of the regular season?

Many posters here believe running ability offsets pressure on the QB when in fact the opposite is true. JD didn’t go from the most sacked QB in program history to taking few sacks because he became faster. He’s eliminated the sacks because the ball comes out on time.

The back up QB is always who the rant geniuses want to start. Before the season Nuss was the back up, therefore he was far and away the better option at QB. Daniels put an absolute end to that debate pretty quickly.

The season is winding down though, and JD will be gone. That means, in just a few weeks Nuss will be the guy. So here come the great rant minds to start calling for the back up. Except they don't know who the back up even is quite yet, but they will still get some practice in by telling us Nuss isn't the best option.

This is the rant way.

By gosh, "Burrow will never lead an offense to 45 points a game".

Its just part of being a fan.
