You must be one of the Nuss fanatics because you clearly have not comprehended the OP.

JD5 had a great season and Nuss fanatics (not Nuss himself who I think is going to be a good QB next year) are unbelievably quiet after disparaging JD5 from the outset - To the point of absurdity.

Now coming to the end of the season you find people coming out of the woodwork concerned about Nussmeier, like he has done something wrong.

This kid cannot be the savior in September and the "guy who should start" to "we have questions about his ability to make decisions and run".

But clearly you jump to hurt feelings before thought. Sorry your boy did not start this season.

Please share an example of CBK going with anyone other than the best QB.

well ... that's the question isn't it. How does CBK decide which QB is "best". I THINK I know what criteria CBK uses to decide the "best" QB, and his actions align with what I've said I think that is.

Based on what we've seen from CBK in QB selection over the last 2 years, his estimation of "best" QB prioritizes running ability over throwing ability.

It's OK. That's not an attack on the man. It's a valid approach to the game.

But, knowing that about him .... is it not reasonable to assume that he might like to have a QB that can run next year, too?

If Kelly and the staff did not believe in Nuss they would have let him walk and keep Walker Howard.

I think they wanted All 3. Nuss just didn’t walk away.

So far he's only chosen one QB at LSU and I'd say he nailed it.

Stop saying this. Is he Jayden Daniels? No. But he’s an athletic guy

Maybe that's why I said it doesn't bother me?

Subject of this is “Next year and Nuss”. When we talk about “last 2 seasons and JD”, that’ll be a really pertinent take.

But for THIS discussion … not so much.

I asked you to elaborate on your claim that Kelly places undue emphasis on a running QB. It seems you're unable to do that, but you brought it up.

This is complete nonsense. The Jayden fanatics just couldn't handle any criticism whatsoever. Now they're butthurt and trying to smear Nuss. It's not a mystery who is "coming out of the woodwork".

What? You NEW? Have you followed this team the last 2 seasons?

You don’t think CBK prioritized running ability in his selection of starting QB last year? And again this year?

JD5 played! When his passing was just …. bad. It was widely agreed that though JD5 was struggling with the passing game, he was best because his running ability gave the team a chance to win with an inexperienced O Line.

You forgot all that?

You're one of those Brennan fetishists aren't you? Tell me, do you masturbate to pics of young Brennan or fat Brennan? JD played very well last year. Your bitterness blinded you to it. There were plenty of us telling you that he would be the top QB in the SEC and likely a Heisman candidate. Kelly didn't prioritize running ability, he prioritized leadership. Which Daniels showed in spades last season.

No, he prioritized 3 years starting experience.

No! No! Not me! Not at all!

I’m well aware that ONLY JD5 fetishists are allowed here.

This is such pathetic posting. its quite sad that you are turning success this year for Jayden Daniels, the wide receivers, and the offensive line's performance into hatred against Nussmeier, one of the classiest guys on the roster, and in his own damn right highly fricking talented and has a bright future with the school he loves.

Nobody is doing that, but what many of you are doing is that same nonsense you spoke, but to Jayden Daniels. A guy everybody in the media and players alike calls a good guy, always laughing, always putting his body on the line, always improving, dragging a sad sack group to possible back to back 9 win seasons. You and many of your comrades have a hate for JD5 that makes no sense whatsoever. I mean I kinda understand some of you have the racial undertones, but others are just extreme Nuss fanatics that think the kid walks on water, when the numbers and how he looks in games say otherwise.

Yes, they are. You're literally doing it right now.
