Dude it'll be a packed house...stop being a dramatic little biatch. Lsu isn't that good this year, our defense and DC is vastly overrated and I believe lsu finishes 7-5 to 8-4. However, we will best one of TX and Bama.

Taylor will go crazy. We will need to outscore them.

Would be a disaster and F grade for his first year if that happens.

I don't think Taylor will be well enough to play..Without him, State is very average.

Looking at the schedule and Lane’s first year I thought 8-4 or 9-3 was realistic

8-4 would be a disappointing. 7-5 would be a total disaster.

false

8-4 with a chance to be 9-4 would be great in year 1. What exact reasons did you expect LSU to be in title contention in year 1 of a new coach who inherited a 7-6 team last season and a vastly under manned team? Be careful how you answer.

7-5 and finishing 7-6 would be disappointing.

Alot of people do not realize that the last 2 yrs, our schedule was a cake walk compared to this season's(and next) schedule.

Running quarterback? Check.
Creative play caller? Check.
Baker still the defensive coordinator? Check.

Just prepare yourselves

How many "football experts" on this board said the same thing about Kentucky? See how that turned out.

You’re wrong. Kiffin admitted last night that the NIL era is different than the old days. College football is now a new team of mercenaries every year. There’s no more, “give it a year or two to develop”. You buy the best roster money can buy and roll the dice. It’s all about coaching and motivation. I guarantee you we will have a completely different roster in ‘27, and then another completely different roster in ‘28 and on into perpetuity. So all you people saying “just
Wait til next year”, are living in the archaic past. We bought a $50 million roster for ‘26 and it failed. In ‘27, let’s hope we can buy a whole new $50 million roster and make a damn 24 team play-off.

Are you by chance a little girl?
Seriously, I sure as hell wouldn't want you coaching my kid in any sports with that pussy mentality.

Alot of people do not realize that the last 2 yrs, our schedule was a cake walk compared to this season's(and next) schedule.

Dude, Brian Kelly came in here after O with barely any players left on the roster and went 9-3 in the regular season, beat Bama and won the West. And that was after we finished 6-7 the year before. He finished with 10 wins. Are you telling me Lane can't accomplish what BK did? And I am not even saying we need to get to the SEC Championship Game. I'm just saying 9 wins should be attainable.

This isn't the 90s where you need years to rebuild a team, etc. It's a different time with the portal. We didn't hire Lane to finish 8-4. Almost no one would say that is great. That would be a disappointing meh result and excites no one. 9-3 is at least close to the playoffs - one of the main goals in this era. We lost to a team we shouldn't have lost to last night with a first-year head coach.

One think Kiffin hates is lacking fan support in the stadium

He’s been vocal about that every where he’s been

I wonder how many losses it will take for fans to realize our government has produced another "shite Show".

NIL gets more expensive every year and the entertainment value decreases.
How long Lord?
