Keep your rose colored glasses on...like alot of folks here, you're going to need them.

Ur an idiot saban had just lost NC talent from the year before.
yall need to move to fricking alabama you closet gump lovers. In 06 we lost 4 1st round draft picks so dont give me that shite. Those dudes were on the 04 team as well as other nfl talent, and we still won in 07. Saban has won 2 west titles at bama and they will lose to UF again. Im still not impressed.
Comparing saban to miles is getting fricking old. We have what we have and we have a shot at the sec next yr. Saban will lose to meyer so i guess they should fire him since he is not as good of a coach. they have no chance at winning the sec with uf on the other side.

also if yall think saban is so good, then no matter who we hire we will always be 2nd best to bama.

Mils is not mentioned in one single head coaching search or rumor- EVER. The argument is not that he's not available and doesn't want to leave LSU, it's that no one is interested in even TRYING to steal him from LSU
I could name a few coaches that are considered pretty good that fits this description. You tend to use this argument alot but its irrelevant.

Miles has to have 2 top coordintors and will still drop at least 2 games.
True. No matter how much talent he has, Miles will always drop at least 2 games. Saban, with less overall talent, went undefeated last year and did so again this year.

The Lost Boys are still lost and have absolutely no life outside of The Rant! Poor Rantards! Poor Louisiana!

Guys---saban was not undefeated last year---he lost 2 games--why does everyone say undefeated?

Regular season. And again this year, with a team that looks stronger. I would gladly take undefeated regular seasons every year.

You are right. The only relevant numbers are those from this season.
Like 5-3 in the SEC, 9-3 overall, and 14th in the nation.

What good is an undefeated regular season if you lose the SEC championship game and your bowl game. If that happens again, especially if they get blown out again in their bowl game, we might finish ranked higher if we win ours. Everyone keeps saying that Miles is good for 2 losses no matter what, Saban's deal sure looks like 2 losses to me. You people keep forgetting that the only time Saban lost less than 3 games at LSU was the NC year. He was also a "Blue Grass Miracle" away from 5 losses in '04. I'm tired of all of the Saban crap. Let's move on because that piece of shite was far from perfect but some people just won't believe it.

You argue results, I argue process, you say tomato, I say tomatoe. If you have poor process, eventually the results will not equal what they have in the past....the poor process will catch up with you. We will never agree, so just accept the fact that we disagree.

I don't think any of us should lose sight of the fact that Nick is a fine coach who had some pretty good success at LSU and now at Bama. Going undefeated in the SEC speaks well for any coach/team.
Having said that, I do think that Nick needs to win at least one SEC crown at Bama before we begin to shake at the mere mention of his name.

I accepted that fact longgggggg ago.

I don't know bout that. I'm thinking the vastly improved T/O margin in fact shows just the opposite, but each to our own.
