LSU had the roster this year to go 10-2 and make the playoffs. Once again, we didn't, and it was directly due to coaching.

Yeah, except he was in the minors. And in the minors he was a 9-3 guy.
He's been that since he's been here...its what he always has been, no reason to think he'll be better here.
Specifically talking about him losing--I was referring to the first game of they year, when in 3 years, he's never had a team ready to play. What will change about that?
He is out of his depth on the portal, LSU hasn't figured out the collective...his "overall" record is as completely irrelevant. One, it wasn't in the elite football, ever. Two, the portal was never like it is now.
Saban realized even HE (Overlord of College Football) could no longer handle this. NOTHING makes me believe Kelly can. He's old. He's tired. He's dull. He's irrelevant.
But he's also making 10 mil a year for the next 7 years...LOL! So, enjoy the old tired dull irrelevant ride.

The recent talk about the Clemson game being cancelled for whatever reason is nonsensical. Neither team will seek to back out of the game. Good grief! Other teams fans must be having a field day coming on here and reading this foolishness. Play, win and be damned with what's happened in the past!

This is where I am. I bought into the hype coming into 2024. I felt as though Nuss could be our next Heisman winner (he could be with the right coaching). I made myself believe losing to USCw wasn't a big deal as they were good too. After the Arkansas game, I was completely sold.
Then the second string QB for aTm came in the game and dominated. That was a game LSU still should have won with proper game planning on offense. Nope.
Won't fool me again. Tired of the shite talking at the end of every year. Last year it was "judge me in year three". This year it is "receipts".
We are being frauded at 10M a year. Now I just laugh.

LSU is always favored in openers. Has been favored in every game over this 5 game losing streak. I am glad to hear Clemson has their core coming back. that means LSU will finally be a dog in one of these opening matchups playing at Clemson’s Death Valley. Those two things should be all the motivation the team needs to finally get up for a season opener. Like our chances better as a road dog.

If I were Clemson I wouldn’t back out either.
Some folks in the LSU fan base want to back out of these high profile games to start the season as they are now viewed as unwinnable with our current head ball coach.
That’s what it is all about. I think our fan base, over the years, has enjoyed these games. It’s just the coach and apparent lack of correct preparation and alignment.

In all of my pissing and moaning, I have never downgraded our team. Ever. I've stated many times this team was a 10-2 team, at worst, with a decent coaching staff. Any staff from that current playoff pool could take this team and have them in the SECCG and playoffs. Period.
Yes, I will continue to shite on a coach that talks shite he can't back up at 10M a year. That is insane. When I sat in Tiger Stadium in the early 90s to watch Hallman, we endured. It sucked, but it didn't cost 10M a season to watch a team consistently underachieve.

Really ppl were just talking out the side of their neck. LSU can’t back out if Clemson agreed to it. It’s a sec rule that sec teams have to schedule 1 p4 team or notre dame a year. If lsu cancels this late, which p4 team can they schedule?

LSU is not a consistent program above just making a bowl game.
Our fans love to use "this century" to prop up LSU, but the truth is that the modern era is since the CFP. In a few years that will change again to the NIL era with a bigger sample size.

Counts against NCAA limits of practice time but I don’t think against rules otherwise

No, but I can see very distinctive pattern of the coaching staff of my alma mater and compare it to the pattern of that opponent and make a very easy, logical prediction.
