This is a one year waiver while they work on a permanent rule change. my guess is that this will become a permanent change.

This is huge news for the LSU program going forward. As everyone knows, LSU has one of the hardest hit programs as far as attrition and roster numbers. We can now replace up to seven transfers and still sign a full 25 recruits. This helps LSU as much or more than anyone.

Please dear lord, load up on the offensive lineman.

Sign 10 this year and hopefully 5 of them will be able to contribute at some point soon.

It's not clear to me, but I think it will only apply to those who transfer from now until 12/15, and not to past transfers.

I think this helps the upper middle class of college football more than Saban tbh. There's only so much talent you can stack up before it becomes redundant. You can't put 80 guys on the field at once.

Alabama is already using their signing classes of 28-30 every year in Bear Bryant fashion, putting them on their roster for a nice stipend from the REC and promises of NC rings just to keep other schools from having them. The Midget then processes here and there once he’s had some time to assess their talent level

Not intended for this but it will help the major programs the most by helping them to fill any gaps they may have. If you think Bama is strong now wait til they process some bottom feeders and bring in 32 new ones targeted at bolstering their "deficiencies"

Nonetheless, will be big help to LSU.
