Mike the Tiger should be paraded around Tiger Stadium as a symbol of strength and courage like the football players.

I watched Mike go around the field for over 40 years. It was an awesome tradition. Not once did he ever seem to be in distress. Unfortunately it will never happen again. I am surprised Texas, Colorado, FSU, Auburn, etc still have their animals part of pregame. The PETA group is stupid along with some of the woke soft people on this board.

I saw my first game in Tiger Stadium in 1958, when I was four years old, and I've seen several hundred more. Not once did it ever matter to me if Mike was or wasn't at the game. It just wasn't a big deal.
"Oh, look. An animal in a cage."
Then I went back to eating popcorn and watching warmups. Half the crowd didn't even give it THAT much attention.
