When I think of “negative” LSU fans, I think about those who harm the long term prospects of the program. Like, for example, those who are either are not discerning enough or don’t care enough to call out those who put it on a path of decline. If you care about the program, you seek excellence.

If by negative you mean intelligent enough to know the O hire was a disaster waiting to happen...then yes, we're here.

The same thing applies to any organization, whether it's a team, a business, government, school, etc. If you truly love it, you want it to achieve its maximum potential. Having the wrong guys in charge won't get you there, and you have to seek change.

I may not agree with how you feel about Orgeron, but I definitely agree that the discussion of his merits as a head coach don't belong on the recruiting board. IMO, even his recruiting practices should be a Rant discussion. Leave the recruiting board for recruits only.

All this is spot on but nothing we can do about it now. O was named HC and he won 9 n year one. I’m gonna give him his shot this season before I automatically say he’s a bust and won’t win at Lsu.

For frick's sake...I've been on this board for over a decade and had the same essential username on TigerRoar back when it was the most highly read LSU board since 1999. Literally up until this shitshow of a hire I was called a SUNSHINE PUMPER constantly. I spent countless amounts of time making LSU graphics for fans to use for years and have been as vocal a supporter of the program as you'd ever hope to meet. For nearly 20 years I've been as Pollyanna and positive an LSU fan as you'd ever want to run into here.
But now...because I decided early on that the coach we ALL laughed at Ole Miss for hiring was unqualified to be OUR head coach and have continued to make that case...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW I'm suddenly not REALLY an LSU fan.
I guess maybe you're right. You've cracked the code. It's been a long con this entire time from back in the late 70's when I was first being introduced to LSU football with guys like Charles Alexander. My Dad clearly was just setting you guys up when he brought me to my first game as a 12 year old in 1982 to see Dalton and James play they first game as freshman. It was all a ruse when I hung on everything LSU basketball from the Final Four with Hi-C Carter and Rudy Macklin and the next one with John Williams and Don Redden and on through the CJ and Shaq years. Those football season tickets I bought back in 2001 and still have...all for show.
Seriously...suck a bag of dicks. I'm critical of this situation we're in right now BECAUSE I'm a fan...not because I'm not. Either pay attention to the people you're claiming are not fans and back up your assertion, or kindly shut the frick up. Otherwise you show yourself to be a damned fool not worthy of the attention I just gave you.
