What’s the danger in bringing him in? Bad PR?

I really enjoyed it every time he was brought into the stadium...and also enjoy hearing opposing players tell about seeing him parked in front of their entrance tunnel.

However, since tigers are critically endangered and also pretty dangerous animals to have around people, I think there is just too much to lose to be worth the risk. If the tiger or any person were to be hurt in any way as a result of bringing him in, it would be an absolute public relations nightmare.

They would look for him during the game because he always used to go. It was perfectly fine. Listen, we don’t have to rewrite history. I’ve seen all the previous mikes that were in much worse conditions on a daily basis. I promise you LSU will always have a Tiger.

30,000 signatures want him out of the 5 million dollar habitat...i domt think they are gonna pull him across the street to get into players heads.

If they had stopped the stupid fireworks, we might could have kept it going. Mike VI hated those fireworks but Les would not let them go.

Mike > fireworks but ... that ship has sailed.

Key word is "hologram". It's a hologram tiger man.

California. That is all you need to know on that situation. Nobody pays them any attention.

Simple! Don’t have fireworks during day games when they are a waste any way. Bring the tiger in and let the crowd get the experience. I can find 30,000 LSU fans to sign my own petition.

LSU needs a catahoula cur we can unleash on the field on gamedays. We can watch it maul a chicken or fetch an Aggie

How have they measured the stress level of tigers during any events or throughout the day?

Ever tried to get a cat into a carrier to bring to a vet? Imagine a 500-600 lb Tiger.

It's not happening. The habitat is now a designated sanctuary and to have that status Mike does not go to the stadium ever.

Auburn turns their Eagle loose to fly to the center of the field.
We should turn Mike loose.

Frick the cage.....bring him out on a leash and turn that biotch loose right at the entrance to the visitor's locker room.

Nice... kind of like the Tiger scenes in Gladiator?

Check out this giant 3D holographic tiger, ya'll.

I think it's badass. Put it at midfield before we run out the tunnel!

Any other university using holographic entertainment? I bet we'd be the 1st

If I recall one of the requirements for obtaining the latest Mike was that we don’t bring him into the stadium. Part of the “Sanctuary” requirements.

Call Dr Baker and demand it.
I’m sure he’ll put your interest above those of Mike.
Did you know anything about Mike’s care or what it took to get another live mascot?

Actually if they could do that Hologram tiger when opposing team comes on field would be awesome. There was a time when Mike would scare the shite out of team as the ran by him roaring and hitting fence with his paw as they entered Tiger Stadium. I remember players actually falling down as he hit fence and roared...talk about intimidation.
