I was in your position maybe 4 years ago. Have kids, and see where your feelings are after that.
I don’t care about hearing shite and arse, but an entire section of the stadiums chanting someone to suck some tiger dick bitch. I have the option to tell them that it’s bad language and they shouldn’t say it. Then I worry it becomes part of their vernacular at school. Or I ignore it and they start saying it anyway because everyone else does. It’s a great song. It gets everyone lit up. It was awesome before STTDB was added to it.

Also, you don't think the TV producers can't pick up when this song is playing and go strictly to the color commentator audio only? Aren't there audio engineers managing this type of stuff? If it's that well known you'd think they would get someone with a clue to call Broken Arrow when they hear it. This isn't that hard.
To me, this is about the administration not wanting to condone the behavior. As a LSU grad, I get what they're trying to do. I shouldn't expect them to let it go as it's against the Student Code of Conduct, stated values, etc. I've got mixed emotions on this one at the end of the day.

It's such an awesome song to play after big momentum shifting plays. It's like the first four notes of Hold That Tiger. The whole STTDB chant is so stupid and lame.

If they can include that dumb f*cking 2 note Redzone noise they do (which clearly doesn't work) with Neck on the banned list, then I'm all for Neck staying banned.
