Kids not ready for college catcher, I have seen lots of HS catchers do a better job. Kid will get better with time.

Catcher definitely going to be a problem for LSU this year and it's slowly looking like starting pitching will be too.

Mann up against Noot, runner on 1st, no outs

bunt foul, 0-1
throw to 1st
squares, low and inside, 1-1
bunted back to Noot, out 1-6! Throw to 1st not in time, reaches on FC

The travel, Mardi Gras, coming off a tournament win, the #1 ranking

Them boys aren’t all there tonight and it’s apparent all over the place

Maybe I haven’t watched enough this year but was the ump checking the reliever’s glove before he came in?

That's a ridiculous obstruction call. Rantz doesn't know what he's talking about. You don't just get awarded the next bag because you round a base and contact a defender.

They have to be making an effort to advance and the runner "would have reached the base had the obstruction not occured."

Horrible ruling.

Arrambide is the worst defensive catcher I've seen in my entire life. This is 100% factual at this point.

Give Priester a shot, there's no way he's worse than Arrambide behind the plate

Yeah it’s worse.

Can we get Arimbede out of there? This dude is so raw behind the plate.

Then his first AB with a runner on second and no outs, he swings 2-0 at an inside ball, fouling it off and then swings at another ball, hitting it to third and not advancing the runner. When you are hitting with a runner on second and no one out, you should expect the pitcher will be pitching inside. The only job you have is hitting the ball the other way and should be looking middle away for your pitch, not inside.

We're playing an FCS school. If the boys can't handle that we aren't going very far this year
