I understand that interaction with an agent is a violation, but this?

quote:

The second violation involved a recruit who met an ex-LSU player on the sideline during a game this season and shook his hand. Another prospect took a picture with a music artist that was on the sideline.

What a bunch of BS. I can understand intentions of not wanting NFL stars contacting recruits, but shaking a former players hand and taking a picture?

Yet Alabama can pay their players and have 2 coaching staffs. Unfricking believable.

The former player meeting the recruit is a violation that doesn't actually carry a penalty. So is it really a violation? Not really, but our compliance office has decided to change our sideline policy because of it.

Bo Bahnsen can eat a whole bowl of dicks.

The NCAA probably has a mobile unit on LSU's campus 24/7 365.

Good one, but can they be considered "former"? They are all in their prime age and could be back in the NFL at any time. It all just makes it even worse.

So, what about Trent Richardson and McElroy helping out with Bama practices?

I guess they just didn't shake hands...

They are also allowed to have their ex-players come and help them practice

Trent Richardson shaking a bama players hand isn't exactly the same as Shaq shaking a recruits hand. The recruit is still an undecided high school student. It's all fricking stupid though. Bama commits are popping up with brand new Dodge chargers all over the place.

You mean, having former Bama/NFL players PARTICIPATE in practice? Don't you? IMHO, That is easily for more egregious than a hand shake.
