Peso went 20/13 for the Rockets tonight. Wade had a pipeline of ballers.

Were you in a coma when he hit a game winning 3 pointer to beat an NCAA tournament bound Mississippi State team on the road?

What does him hitting a game winning 3 have to do with the fact that he underachieved his entire time here and never had the kind of games that the guy you’re responding to pointed out?

Oh, I know the answer, it has nothing to do with it

It’s almost like he grew into his game or something. fricking crazy I know

Define “underachieving.” You can’t use a broad-spectrum word like that and expect it to stick, especially without statistics showing expected production vs actual production.

He had 29 points and 9 rebounds that game. The game before at Arkansas he had 19 and 10. The following game vs Auburn he had 13 and 11 against Florida he had 16 and 15.

I don’t think you want me to keep going. There is plenty more

Naz was frigging awesome true freshman and it sucks we only had one year

I don't agree with it, but people definitely shite on him on this board while he was here.

You didnt pay very close attention

26 and 14 against Florida in SECT

29 and 9 @ MSU

27 and 7 @ Arkansas

16 and 15 vs. Florida

This was all as a true freshman by the way, he's been in the league 4 years now. I can only imagine what he would have looked like as a man in college.

Naz averaged 14/7 here as a true freshman on a team that went to the S16 without a coach. His PER was nearly 20 that season. That is VERY good for a true freshman in a power conference. You make it act like he spent 3 years here or something, he was a 1 and done.

It's baffling how bad some of the posters here are with basketball, please watch more of it to understand it before looking silly making comments like this. I would also suggest maybe not watching the team this year because you wont learn much from it other than it completely sucks

Well, he did, but ok

26 and 14 against Florida
18 and 11 against A&M
29 and 9 against State
27 and 7 against Arkansas
19 and 12 against ULM
29 and 7 against UNC Greensboro

Maybe if people didn't insist on using hyperbole in so many arguments they wouldn't look dumb. Avoiding words like "never," "always," or "literally" would be a good start for a lot of people.

If Wade wrote him a check, through his wife's checking account, it was worth it.

Wish we had him now.
We would have more than one conference win, even if Mac can't coach.

Saw the ESPN highlights. He looks good, is moving well and I hope he has continued success.

People are so fricking stupid. Either someone wins the Wooden award or they suck. No in between.

Naz was not a perfect college player (not many true freshmen are) but he was pretty damn good. He was arguably the 2nd best player on an SEC title team. Glad to see he's doing well in the league.
