Reed, Wendell Davis, and Clayton
Rohan to Reed-he could always get open and break the first tackle.
Hodson to Davis-He could always get open and make the catch.
Mauck to Clayton
What would Clayton have done with Rohan. Hands and determination and sacrifice of his body.

Josh Reed, Eric Martin, and Andy Hamilton. Honorable mention (or top 5) would be Wendell Davis and Michael Clayton. LSU had never been known as a "pass happy" team until this season but those guys were the best of the best from my personal view. Reed could get open against anybody and YAC numbers were crazy good, Martin had the best hands (along w Davis) w/o the blazing speed, and Hamilton was the smoothest route runner w great speed. Here's to adding another 1 or 2 or 3 to the list soon.....

Jarvis Landry
Brandon Lafell
We’re gonna play special teams too and get pancake blocks down field.

Jarvis Landry
Dwayne Bowe (was #1 until Jarvis Landry)
Justin Jefferson (used to be Brandon LaFell, but Jefferson starting in the spring game last year, made me a huge fan)
You'll have to excuse me considering I am only the 2nd CFB fan in my whole family (and of the 5 fans I know of, I'm the only one that really keeps up with it), so I didn't start watching them til 2005 and didn't even know anything about CFB until 2004. Without an abundance of tape on older guys (Josh Reed is #6 Beckham is #5), I can't exactly say I'm a huge fan of any of the older ones because I haven't watched them.
Bowe was my favorite NFL WR (not of all time, that's Randy Moss), up until Beckham.
Landry, just the way he plays. Quickness, catch at all times of angles and a strong and tough SOB. His personality is awesome too.

It sucks that clayton fricked his knee up after his rookie season where he was up for offensive rookie of the year with the bucs. He never could seem to stay healthy for an entire season after that. He had a long and productive career regardless, that includes being a Superbowl champion with the nyg, but it just sucks bc I know we didn't see him reach his full individual potential in the NFL.
People also seem to somehow forget that Mike only played 3 seasons at LSU, bc he was drafted in where most of the other players he is being compared to/with played their full college careers and had an entire extra season to compile their receiving records for LSU.

I suspect many of the voters never saw several of the WRs mentioned because of youth.
Most of the players mentioned were so close in talent that is hard to separate them. Some wouldn't make my top ten because they only started one year and made a game saving catch which stuck in fans minds.
Josh Reed and Wendell Davis did it every game through their careers. They did it when teams knew who was going to get the ball but couldn't stop the play.
Clayton was relentless. If ball was thrown behind him or in front of him he caught it. I remember a play, the ball was thrown to another receiver who missed the catch. As the ball was falling to the turf, Clayton dove and caught it about a ft off the ground. He was also a wicked special teams player on kickoffs and punts.
I thank them all for giving us great memories and entertainment.

Amp Hill (training camp GOAT)
Remember in ‘04 Addai moved to WR in training camp? He played the Oregon State game and dropped a few passes and then was promptly moved back to RB.
