What forecast you looking at?
I work in finance in a small community in Louisiana which depends on farming. Input cost higher than ever and only getting higher paired with terrible commodity prices have made for a very tough situation for farmers. Even with record yields this year some farmers may not be able to go on. The last 2 years have also not been kind with flooding and drought conditions in the state. We finally have a great crop and the prices bottom out. There are whispers of a possible government payment that will lessen the sting but most farmers are in a tight spot right now.
If I am hungry in the stadium I just eat a Chic Fil A sandwich(never let me down always hot and pretty fresh) and enjoy the game.
The PMAC will be open if you want to cool off and watch some of the early games inside.
Low moisture Mozzarella tends to be the better choice for melting. Just did Chicken Parm last night and it turned out great.
Dave's Good Seed(Yellow Label) toasted for avocado toast or a turkey club is hard to beat.
You can get Tabasco pepper mash(ground peppers and salt) online from Louisiana Pepper Exchange and some other places. May not be "fresh" but would probably be a good option.

I know some people do not enjoy the sweeter bourbons, but I really do. I am still pretty new to the bourbon game and really like everything I have tried from Penelope.

Really want to try the Rio too but im not paying $300/Bottle on secondary. hopefully we get some from the next batch. My guys I buy from in the NELA area said they can see the Havana when they try to place orders, but it is not being released. Hoping we get some here at some point.

Has anyone seen any Penelope Havana is Louisiana yet? I know there has been some in Texas recently but it went fast. Trying to get my hands on a bottle before its too late.

I have a Treager 575 Pro and love it, you can do just about anything on it. I have had it for 6 or 7 years, cook on it often and have never had a problem.
Churchs or other lots on Dalrymple if you don't mind a walk and paying $20 to park and support the local boy scouts. Straight to I-10 after the game.
