Recency bias is possibly the worst trait of sports fans.

There is zero reason to think Brennan is not the starter.

Its stupid to take a side one way or the other. Let it play out.

Brennan is a veteran as far as time in the program, game prep etc, learning new playbooks etc but even after all these years, he's light on actual relevant snaps as a starter. TJ Finley has started more games than Brennan...

Max showed off some upside in beating a good Florida team on the road and then statistically torched Ole Miss. Comparatively, Brennans starts were against State, Vandy and Mizzou. Not exactly high level SEC competition.

So each guy has showed some promise and has some reasons we could say one of them should be the starter but there's not a high level of success for either of them to say for certain.

1112 yards. 60% completion. 11 TD’s. 3 games.

Johnson is the better runner. Cannot pass 1/5 as good as Brennan. Mediocre arm strength. You are delusional.

Its going to be a tough call for the new OC. I like Max because he seems to make quicker decisions and has much better wheels.

It's Johnson's job to lose...I just want the best QB. More QB depth than we've ever seen.

When are you guys going to realize last season is over old news . A new beginning will take place for everyone it’s wide open the coaches will decide not the media or the fans .
At least we have a QB coach who is our OC. Don’t count Finley out of this he came from a horrible program for a QB with bad habits his upside is thru the roof .

This is a stupid take. He threw for 430 and 345 in those 2 losses. Defense gave up 45 and 44. Dont be stupid turnpiketiger. Use your brain.

What is the object of the game? Wins of stats? Maybe you should check your brain. I love all of you on here that quote stats and arm strength. Doesn't mean a damn thing.

He's got at least 35 pounds on this guy who returned punts, blocks and gets hit in the open field allgame long.

He's been hurt once in his career. And it was a freak injury stated by Doctors.

Hmmm The offense was still averaging around 40 ppg when Brennan lost those games yet you’re blaming it on Brennan and not the defense that was abysmal?

Yes the D was still bad to horrible when Max won those games but by then the D actually had the potential to stop somebody. And the fact that Brennan would’ve racked up over 400 yds passing on both Ds Max faced.

Brennan is still by far the better arm talent of the two.

I agree. However, a good QB competition will help him be better. I have no problem with Myles "Baby Face" Brennan coming in hot to try and regain his starting spot. May the best Tiger win.

Was it a “freak injury” or was it his body breaking from a routine tackle?

He has had 1 injury...ever. None in HS at all. he had 1 fluke muscle tear and now suddenly he is soft and gets injured too easily. What a ridiculous statement.

When you score 40 points and lose. The loss is not the offenses fault...plain and simple. The QB can't keep the other team from scoring.
