I think it's a moot point, really. Tennessee had a deep staff and could even allow Burns to walk and still win the natty.
Pretty impressive if you ask me. It's clear they were so loaded they didn't require Burns or Holman. Tony's got that program rolling

No, it would be like me pointing out that Jay lost recruiting battles on Waldrep and Ahuna in 2023. Meaningless because they would have just been lagniappe on a natty team. Jay signed studs that year and that's what mattered
