My body is wondering why I haven’t poured a bourbon and started watching a baseball game

TBH I never really figured out my boozing plan for midweek baseball. Very inconsistent. Definitely feels odd to not be watching or thinking about it around now.

I’m thinking about just going back and watching it all over from the beginning.

I don't think I could handle that. I need a break from stress!! I'm sort of looking forward to a little down time.

Geez, I could use one now. My wife and I have been trying to get out of the NE since Sunday. We missed a connection at JFK in NY and have had 3 other flights canceled. We travelled by train to Philly, had one cancelled there, took a taxi to Baltimore, and now we’re on a SWA flight to Tampa, then an 11 PM to NOLA.

We haven’t been home in two weeks. We watched the championship on the train to Philly. That’s been the only bright spot besides getting laid a lot because there’s nothing else to do.

The tourney run ruined my fitness and alcohol abstinence program. Fun as hell tho.

If she's still down in the middle of that travel hell, you should hang on to that one.

I'm actually glad it's over.

Don't get me wrong. I'll miss watching this team and LSU baseball. I think I missed 2 or 3 games total this season.

But damn my nerves need a break. I wouldn't want to watch anymore high stakes Omaha games tonight.

But real talk if the tigers were trotting out there vs Mcneese or some shite with Lynn on the call tonight for some low stakes Tuesday night game. My arse would be in. I am going to miss Baseball being part of my weekly routine.

The end of season really makes you appreciate the low stress games mid season. "Like oh no we lost to Nichols State because of a stupid base running mistake." Oh well off to bed I go.

Just said to my wife, who now has become a die-hard baseball fan, though she absolutely knows nothing about anything. I thought I was reading the rant out loud from all of her comments of a 24-4 loss to a 18-4 Win same highs same melts, she even had me saying Why can’t Skenes pitch everyday if he’s the best. I digress but I said what we going to do after watching The Great LSU National Fkn Champions for 3 starts weeks!

Maybe someone with a good memory could go through and pull out a list of specific games to rewatch?
Dammit.

Yeah, i went like 9 straight days of whiskey and cokes followed by beers. My body feels so out of sorts. Its used to waking up at 4am to piss the last week and a half. Need to just start watching all of the 1991 cws games to continue the binge

My drinking schedule never changed. Probably not good for my liver.
